The room I did get tho wasn’t two beds the same size, one was a double and the other was a single that moved around quite abit, other than the bed, there was no issues with the room. "Mandarin Oriental hotels always set a high standard and this Shanghai property was excellent. Staff were amazing and so polite and helpful. I stayed in a club room and this was spacious and well appointed. Only one draw back was the lack of English TV channels. The complementary toiletries were a bit disappointing. I used the fitness suite and this was excellent- nice spa area as well. Food was generally good especially the breakfast."

"From the moment we stepped out of our Didi van, the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. They attended to our needs with patience and care. The breakfast buffet offers ample selections of Eastern and Western palates. The room is practically an aromatherapy session for the senses, offering a choice of aroma incense or aroma wax. The views of the Bund, day or night, were awesome. There are a couple of good shopping centers within walking distance and a jogging track if you feel like it. A perfect place to wind down and relax after all the hard work."

"Expected 5 Star Hyatt with upgraded pearl Tower view room to have a Microwave and a coffee maker but there was none - very surpised such basic ammenities are in every 3 star motel in canada. The safety box was at the the lowest possible cabinet in washroom, you would have to sit on the floor of washroom to access that. View was excellent as expected and staff was fine, but a hotel of this stature should have basic ammenities. I don't think will be staying here again. "
