"Older venue, fine for an overnight stay"

"As soon as you walk into the hotel, there is a very nasty smell. The hotel room was not pleasant either, the towels that were provided were wet as if they were used, or not fully dry. We ask for a cover for the pull out bed, they were unable to provide us with one. I would not be staying at this location again."

"The Expedia directions to this property will take you to the Econo Lodge parking lot, further down the road. It then guides you to the back area where some shady creatures roam. Don’t stop, make a U-turn and leave immediately. Don’t make eye contact with the local prostitute who camps out there. Just drive. Once you figure out on your own where this Best Western is, by actually looking out of your windshield, you will find that this is more of an old school motel-style property. It’s right next to the fancy Holliday Inn, where you wished you booked instead. The hotel/motel: decent but nothing luxurious or special. The room was fine. Bed not comfy but lots of pillows. The bathroom is segmented into two areas; the sink is part of the room and the toilet and shower in a separate area with a door. You will need to squeeze next to the toilet in order to close this door. There’s not much room. I was able to park my car directly in front of my room/window and front door. Nice and convenient. If I needed to grab something out of my car, I literally just opened the hotel room door. The front desk staff was exceptionally courteous and professional. Now for the surrounding area…. Okay….. here we go. If you plan on staying at this property, keep in mind that you will need to get into your car and drive elsewhere to find something to eat. There’s plenty of options, but unless you wanna experience the transients and crackheads up close and personal, you need transportation."

"I've staying at Hollywood before and had pretty decent visits with no real problems. However my last visit went left after checkout I noticed a charge for an upgrade I never asked for. I was told it would be taken off and not charged but 2 days later it posted in my account...fast forward over 2 weeks, several calls and 2 messages for a callback from a supervisor I never received ...I finally called again and was able to speak with a supervisor who took 2 minutes to refund my money saying it may be several more days and without an so much as an apology but "anything else" Never have I ever been treated so rudely over a mistake the HOTEL MADE and did little to assure it was corrected nor did they apologize. They were a few very nice front desk attendants that did try to help but couldn't then the other half was not so kind and acted like I did something wrong."

"This was a wonderful place to travel with a dog! Very convenient to freeway and restaurants, very clean, nice room, parking, and NO DOG CHARGE—we will return."

"We had a room with a view and it had a beautiful view. The room was spacious and beds was comfortable. The Breakfast was good only one of the days we were there, they had biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and sausage that day while the other days just some premade omelets and sausage no biscuits. Wish it had the biscuits each day. "

"What i liked is that the rooms was very clean and the people was very helpful but trying to get the room when u get there was to slow for me because we had been there for at least 3 hours before I got my room I had to tell them I had my elderly mother with me for them to respond quickly u wish that they would do better in getting the rooms clean on time before people check into the hotel that would be a plus because it dont matter where u book from I feel u still should get a quick response for checking in just my thoughts but great stay"
