"After a long day, I arrived at the hotel expecting a smooth check-in, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. I was given a room that I didn’t book, with no prior warning or explanation. When I got upstairs, I was honestly very surprised to see it wasn’t what I had reserved. I went back down to the lobby, and the only response I received was that they didn’t have the room I originally booked. No proper communication or effort to resolve the issue ahead of time, which made the experience frustrating and disappointing. I expected better organization and transparency, especially after a long day of travel."

"Best buffet breakfast we have had in a long time! Room OK with good maid service. Hotel understaffed. No doorman to greet you and help with luggage or give advice on nearby restaurants, etc. Only 2 people at front desk. WARNING: We booked for 4 nights and had to leave after staying 2 nights....PENALTY FOR CHECKING OUT EARLY A FULL NIGHTS COST OF $325. EXPEDIA SHOULD WARN ABOUT SUCH A POLICY. Also note hotel is about is a mile or so from the subway station in Crystal City....walkable but not very safe at night. Also, they say the shuttle runs every 20 minutes...but the hotel staff does not monitor it at all."

"The breakfast was so so. Sausage was spongy and the eggs were just okay. I was bummed I couldn't get coffee later in the day. Choose to grab a soda from the market, and was amazed with the cost...$5. The room itself was very nice. The hotel is within walking distance to food and coffee shops, although most coffee shops closed early. They offer a shuttle to the metro and the airport. "

"I had 2 nights booked. I checked in and made a note that I would arrive late or early AM. I arrived at 8am and they did not have my room. They listed me as a no show. After explaining the situaton the desk told me they would call when they figured it out. No call by 10:30. I went down to the desk and they told me I was a no show and if I wanted my room it would be double the booked rate. The desk manager with a tone asked "would you like the room or not? With no time to find another location I accepted with complaint. I asked for copies of the receipts and the desk manager said she would credit the no show and printed a copy. Next morning they reversed the credit, and the higher one night charge and kept the billing the same as originally booked. They must have realized the total original booking was more expensive than 1 night. I was surprised of the change since I thought they were helping me out for the inconvenience but I was wrong. The whole situation was unfortunate and they could have handled it better. "
