"Lobby was beautiful, very convenient area and great view. NOW, the hotel is very old, the rooms are dated, housekeeping must be a foreign language as we stayed 4 days and didn’t get basic housekeeping services not once. We had to BEG for clean sheets and fresh towels, ROACHES on the patio. Room don’t even have a mirror to take a picture. I dreaded sleeping being that the bed was very uncomfortable and old, parking is scarce. Very first day I asked for clean sheets because I noticed a stain and they never brung them so I went to the desk and asked again and they handed me a set of sheets to make the bed myself. Asked for fresh towels every day and never got them. I literally went to Walmart and brought some. The manager was very apologetic. Front desk person stated the prior shift never related that we needed sheets and towels. Then the evening shift stated the same thing about the morning shift. Very unsatisfactory an unsanitary and It really gave more of a “good motel” than a resort or hotel"

"This place had very limited parking, my room had this very old and moldy smell upon entrance. We were scared for our lives on that run down elevator. Really needs a total upgrade. However the pool was nice and clean "

"I would not stay here again I was very disappointed the pool was cold it was older you had to walk a ways to the office they don’t tell you much in the office such as there is a 24hr ice machine you can buy a bag of ice from and where the pools are just what pool you can not go in it wasn’t worth the money and we only stayed one night "

"This property was beyond gross, WE DID NOT STAY, the place is not under renovation as stated online …mold was in the bathroom with an awful smell of urine, the refrigerator was nasty black mold in the fridge. My family have asthma & respiratory issues me and my daughter became sick after being in the room literally for 5 mins … the room was filthy… blood on the sheets, floors dirty… I would have preferred the honest reviews to help make a decision.. Only benefit was the property sits on the beach front … Please renovate this property!!!!!"

"The condo was supposed to sleep 6 but there was no bedding for the pull out couch, just an old raggedy stained mattress. No trash bags for the trash can. No shampoo or shower gel. Mold on grout on bathroom floor, baseboards were filthy and furry!!! AFTER paying for the reservation on Expedia (which included a resort fee) we had to pay an additional “registration fee” AND then additional fees per parking pass. There were huge piles of contractor sand outside the door with caution tape. It was the worst. Southern Vacation Rentals, the owner, sent me about 5 or 6 other peoples reservation details via email, including their full names, location of rental and dates of stay!!!! How is that even safe?! Crazy. "
