A quiet location situated within a riding school, so perfect for those with an interest in horses but not affected by it being a working stable. I wouldn’t say this if it wasn’t true! Only one minor point is that the shower head was a bit too low for me, as I’m around 6’ tall."

"I have stayed here several times now. On arrival had a long wait to be checked in. Nobody was on reception. When they finally turned up there was no apology for the wait. Room as expected but I thought this time it was looking very tired. Badly chipped paintwork. Dirty marks on carpet. A stone from a fruit from previous guest on floor. "Lovely large room, comfy bed sand very dog friendly. Lots of parking and advantage of park and ride into Bath 10min walk away. Excellent Sunday roast and fantastic breakfast will definitely be back!"

"A relatively new hotel with very comfortable room and bathroom. AC provision especially great during heat waves. The restaurant is excellent and the food is beautifully cooked and presented. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Area around the hotel is a bit rundown but with a car there are plenty of lovely places to visit in Somerset and Devon. Would recommend staying at this hotel."

"It was a nice property overall, but our room reeked of cigarettes, now my clothes also smell of cigarettes :-( We booked a second room for the rest of the family and that was much nicer. Helpful staff, nice restaurant with a delicious breakfast. Beautiful sunset over the restaurant terrace."
