"The staff was the best part. They were so accommodating and friendly. The garden was also beautiful and the food was amazing. Highly recommend. "

"Our stay at Sambora Kinigi was truly special and one we will remember for a long time. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed, cared for, and at home. Decoration was beautiful. Every single member of the team was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Traveling with our baby daughter can sometimes require a little extra planning and flexibility, but the team accommodated all of our needs with so much warmth, patience, and genuine care. "The property is well maintained and conveniently located just a short walk from the Musanze bus terminal. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The food prepared by the guest house cook was excellent! Our only concern was the lack of hot water in the shower, but that may have been due to the fact that we didn't know to plug in the water heater."

"The house is a 15-20’ walk from the center. Difficult to communicate with the lady (no French, little English) but her husband speaks fluent French. Excellent breakfast, clean and spacious room."

"Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was cleaned each day and the breakfast was prepared well and largely on time as requested"

"Amazing service, charming rooms, fantastic food. I went there after a gorilla trek and before hiking up Bisoke and they were fantastic. They helped arrange transport as well. Will absolutely be staying here again if I'm back in Musanze."

"The lodge does not actually exist. We arrived at the building, and the outside matched the pictures. However there was no sign and no staff at the place. A supervisor (who arrived on bike after being called by one of the neighbours) opened the gates so that we could see the “lodge”. It was completely empty and bereft of any furniture). There was no response from the property...

"Nightmarish experience. I was traveling with a friend who wanted his own room. We booked this hotel at the last minute as it was close to the NP HQs. We arrived at 7 pm to find no front desk, just a bar area that was manned by a young lady who stated that we couldn’t stay as the owner had not been paid. Then the owner called stating that it was late so we could stay and that payment could be discussed in the morning. The hotel did not have wifi as advertised, there was no running or hot water...
