"All went well. My only critique is we had no idea how to get into the house upon arrival, or find the specific house. We were in a foreign country and this was our first house. Having an email sent saying "When you arrive the house looks like this and here is where to find it" would have helped. Also a note saying how to get into the house (We called the owner which took a long time to figure out how to do in a foreign country) and was told house was unlocked and key was inside. "Stayed here with my husband and 2 kids (5 and under). The room was spacious and clean. Parking was convenient. Breakfast had minimal items which was in line with expectations from past reviews (milk, cereal, porridge, bread, jam, coffee). My only issue was the shower, the way it is heated doesn't provide flexibility to get the temperature correct (3 settings of cold, luke warm, burning hot). We only stayed one night so it was fine. "

We took the coast road back as the weather was worsening and the view non existent! Our room was very comfortable and cosy with underfloor heating in the bathroom. "We found the hotel staff to be very friendly and helpful. The room was ideal as a base for sight seeing. We ate our evening meals there while staying and they were excellent. "

"The staff were brilliant although he kept telling us and everyone else he was the only one in running the hotel and the bar. Our room was freezing cold and it felt like the heating had not been on in days, The main external wall was really wet and damp, this would have not been an issue had the heating been used. There were no instructions on how to heat up the room so we used google. Once the room heated up it was fine and no issue, also the following morning the damp had then dried up. "
