We came up to celebrate my mom's 74th birthday and had a lovely stay in the Lady Ann Suite. Ronnie greeted us as we arrived, and we enjoyed family style breakfast and conversation with other guests.

I stayed in the Green Room and it was amazing!!! The room was beautiful and the tub was huge!!! I could have stayed in that tub all night. I was greeted at the door by the owners and given a tour/history of the home. You will not be disappointed. If you love old, historic homes with amazing vibe, this is your place!!

Southern hospitality at its finest! Everything was so clean, sheets and bed were so soft, breakfast was amazing and the staff was absolutely wonderful. When we checked in, Trenell told us our room was perfect and she was right! We stayed in the Green Room and it is as beautiful as the pictures. I would highly recommend!

The level of care and attentiveness was overwhelming. When we pulled up we were met by the caretaker and greeted and Welcome to our room. She walked through the entire property showing us all amenities. This morning we shared a five-star breakfast with all our B&B mates. Totally recommended and a fantastic stay

This house was built in the early 1900s and has all the charm and ambience of stepping into the Biltmore house! Each room was uniquely decorated in Historical antiques. The breakfast served in the morning is served at an early 19th century dining room table with elegance and unbelievable flare! The food was out of this world, and the staff was unbelievably helpful! We will definitely be back!

What an unexpected surprise! I booked a last minute reservation and found the B & B to be a beautiful little gem walking distance from the downtown area and a wonderful walking trail. Melanie was a super accommodating and friendly host! I’ll be back when I have more time.

It is my opinion that after check in time someone should be on the premises until all are in. Also the B&B should ask about any dietary needs. Also be sure the Bathroom is supplied with Soap, and toilet paper. We had to buy soap as there was no one to provide it. People working were pleasant.

I had the pleasure of staying at Morgan and Wells for one night during a recent trip to North Carolina—and I’ve regretted not booking my entire stay there ever since. My team stayed at a nearby hotel, so I had already updated my reservation to join them for the remainder of the trip. Unfortunately, by the time I realized how amazing Morgan and Wells was, it was too late to cancel my hotel stay. This B&B offered, hands down, the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. The room was spacious, full of charm, and beautifully designed—it had so much character and warmth. But what truly made my stay unforgettable was the incredible hospitality. The team was so welcoming, pleasant, and accommodating. I needed an early check-in, and they happily made it happen. Adding my guest to the reservation was seamless as well—they handled everything with ease and care. And let’s talk about breakfast—absolutely phenomenal. Easily the best I’ve ever had in my life. The grits alone had me in a chokehold (in the best way possible!). They even prepared breakfast early to fit my schedule, and I was beyond grateful for that extra effort. A huge thank you to the entire Morgan and Wells team. Your warmth and attention to detail made my short stay truly memorable. I’ll definitely be back—and next time, I’m staying the whole trip.
