"Lovely hotel, our room looked onto the Victoria Quays and had a balcony. Bed super comfortable, well appointed bathroom, great shower, nice toiletries. Leggero nespresso coffee machine, kettle, hair dryer. Adjustable rainbow colours around bed head is a nice touch. Breakfast in the Tavern is fab, friendly and helpful staff, nice bar, 15 mins walk to the Crucible, much of the way is newly paved, pedestrianised path with wild flowers and outdoor seats. Outdoor carpark on site costs £10 per day. Gym, sauna, lovely pool and spa available. We hope to be back soon. "

"This hotel really did represent value for money on a weekend where the city was busy due to a famous comedian performing. The hotel is central and only a five minute walk from the train station. Staff helpful, communal spaces lovely for a drink in the evening. Room was roomy shower powerful with lovely toiletries provided - only one bath towel provided for 2 of us but that will have been an oversight and guess what we coped. The breakfast was ok I had to ask for more bread which then was provided, not a great selection of fresh fruit to go with yogurt but yet again we coped don’t know if that represented value for money. However the setting is nice. Would stay here again."
