Just a heads up on this property .If you don’t speak fluent Italian or Russian don’t bother going .The property is huge ,but the directions to get around are only on apps ,very few of the staff speak English.The front desk were rude ,and really didn’t seem to care if we were taken care of .We didn’t have hot water for 3 days after repeated complaints they sent someone at 8 pm who said would have to come back the next day . Wry dissatisfied to say the least

Has improved noticeably for the last 2years. Has been renovated. Great service , absolute care for the guests. Quality, well prepared food for any tastes. Top quality a la carte restaurants. One shortage: no horn in the room for shoes.

The Domina Coral Bay Resort is a huge and beautiful setting with lovely beaches and pools etc. However, it is a rundown, second-rate property overall. Rooms had really shoddy beds and furniture and were old and dilapidated. Bathrooms were old and not that pleasant to be in.

Many Disappointments All Included in One Price

A hotel so disappointing I almost booked a different hotel for my last two nights. The staff is horrible- before the trip I contacted them to book scuba and other reservations using no less than 6 different methods of contact. Reservation Manager Ahmed Hassan was the only one who responded and told me to email a different address. A few days later, I said I had tried and did not get a response, he did not respond and did not offer any further help. The front desk was equally unhelpful. After a long travel day, I was struggling with my a heavy backpack and they had me shuffle all over reception without offering to help. They also were confused and unhelpful about scuba and when I told them the hotel app was not working. By the way, I signed on to WiFi and at one point, a staff member grabbed my phone and turned on data without my permission, costing me $12/day in charges. Food was terrible. Drink selection was terrible. Taxis through the hotel were 10x as much and they make it near impossible to get outside cabs. Their cabs will also scam you and force you into their perfume store. Everything in the hotel is far apart and so much is off limits to all-inclusive. Scuba through the hotel was overpriced- 2-3x what you get outside the hotel. Buildings were dated and there’s even one part near the cafeteria that’s really just a bad neighborhood, filled with graffiti and boarded up doors. QR codes everywhere didn’t work. The in-app chat feature never responded to my requests.

Hotel Room was mostly undercoated and furniture was beat up. Shower curtain was also gross.

Advantages: Mostly everything was good, staff are nice and funny, transportation is available around the hotel, facilities are good too, many swimming pool options and a bar is available too on the pool, beach is super nice and beautiful. Disadvantages: rooms are pretty small and old, no hot water in the bath, AC is very old and for the first two days it wasn't working at all, there was no elevators in our building, we had to go 3 levels up walking, food is normal nothing special, sometimes taxi’s are not allowed inside, it depends on the security’s mood. I asked and paid for a room with sea and pool view but what i got was a room with a big tree view, I barely saw anything else. But everything else was good and nice, we enjoyed the stay and mostly the beach and pool area which are the most important thing for me in this trip. I recommend this hotel if you want to enjoy the beach activities and only use the room for sleeping.

WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER. Very unhappy since the moment we walked in. Took over 2 hours for check in. Staff didn’t speak english and NO ONE ever understood what we would say. We got the “all inclusive “ and when dining in their “coral restaurant all inclusive” during breakfast the server was rude and said they could make scrambled eggs since the line was super long. AS IF I DIDNT WAIT PATIENTLY FOR MY TURN. do not go here . Do not recommend

If you are English steer clear. Staff are polite but very limited English and frankly they can’t be bothered. Checked in but no details on where we could eat or drink so all inclusive we ended up paying for dinner the first night as the not included cafe has the same name as the hidden included restaurant in the same area. Couldn’t order room service as no one spoke English to take the order. The pool view was the pool that was closed and had diggers working all day and into the night at about 3am for the first 3 nights with a crane working the last night for the big finish. Pool opened for half a day then closed again for another day. Reception area is a disgrace, couldn’t care less and shockingly bad at answering questions, made me wonder if the staff were all new! 1 person doing check in while half a dozen others watched. I wouldn’t come back here if it was free. Literally the worst hotel I have been too which is a shame as the hotel itself could be nice if it had any organisation

VERY SLY AND CHEAP HOTEL. FALSE ADVERTISING !

This hotel was one of the strangest experiences I’ve had of a “All inclusive resort”. It has been extremely tactically planned so that you continue spending EXTRA MONEY every minute of your every single day. The owner is extremely cheap and tries to fleece you for every single last cent. Things are kilometres apart, so you either have to wait for the communal buggy in 40 degree weather (where there is ALWAYS ZERO WIND or PAY for your own buggy. I have never seen a WORSE “all inclusive” bar in my life before. They have placed it in a DARK DINGY spot with NO MUSIC or atmosphere, whereas the bar where you are made to PAY for drinks is where the live music is. The food isn’t good, very few options, very bland pasta, a bit like a school cafeteria or prison.. and guess what ? You have to PAY for all the other restaurants where food is good. On the beach you are sat in different seating areas for the peasants and the people who PAY. On the beach you are made to walk extra far if you do not PAY for the drinks. It is sold as extreme luxury , however they still have the SAME curtains and chairs in every single room from 30 YEARS AGO. Hahahahahahha There is even a divide with the POOLS, you have to pay extra to go to the big fancy pool. You are NOT EVEN allowed to order your own taxis inside the Hotel Hahhahahahaha !!! You are made to use theirs. UNHEARD OF !! All the staff were really nice and helpful. I have never ever in my life seen anything like it. Pathetic !!!

È stato chiesto un cambio camera perché la prenotazione prevedeva un bagno con doccia, mentre ci siamo ritrovati con una vasca con tendina, davvero poco igienica. In più la camera non era affatto pulita. Dopo il cambio camera tutto ok. Struttura buona. Non posso dire lo stesso per il personale della spiaggia. Mia figlia mi ha raccontato che è stata addirittura minacciata, che le avrebbero impedito di partire se non pagava 30 euro per dei teli mare che ha usato un solo giorno del soggiorno, il primo, e che aveva prontamente restituito la sera stessa. Hanno visto che era una ragazza giovane e hanno approfittato per guadagnare 30 euro così. Io purtroppo non ero presente per intervenire. Situazione davvero poco carina. Non è per il discorso dei 30 euro in un resort del genere, ma si tratta di rispetto verso la clientela, che seppur giovane, ha pagato quanto un adulto. Non mi aspettavo tanta pochezza e cafoneria in una location tanto ambita. Sicuramente da migliorare molto sotto questo aspetto.

C’è tutto. È un riassunto di quello che trovi fuori. In più ha una barriera corallina davanti che è ancora molto bella e ricca di pesci. Ha anche il consolato italiano interno che non è male… una città/villaggio… l’acqua utilizzata è sempre in bottiglia così come tutte le bevande. Struttura che ha i suoi anni ma ben manutenuta e sempre in evoluzione. Personale gentile.

Al Domina Coral Bay trattamento Prestige ci siamo trovati divinamente. Personale cortese e servizievole, sorridenti e disponibili. Cibo nei tre ristoranti a la carte di qualità eccellente, in particolare modo il Plaisir dove personale e portate sono state deliziose. Da migliorare il check in, in quanto benchè ospiti Prestige ci siamo ritrovati a fare il check in nella main reception, confusionaria e poco accogliente. Ottima soluzione le macchinette private, ottima pulizia delle stanze.

Pur necessitando di ristrutturazioni, la struttura è bella. Non ho però apprezzato l’incessante richiesta di massaggi, pulizia del viso, escursioni, tatuaggi etc. a cui si viene sottoposti in spiaggia. È un continuo tamponamento e il “no” non viene accettato sempre di buon grado. In spiaggia si cerca relax senza dover fingere di dormire se si ha la fortuna di vedere in anticipo l’arrivo del personale che vende questo o l’altro pacchetto, e a volte anche questo stratagemma non funziona.
