"I think this place does not deserve the negative reviews it gets. First, there are NO accommodations on the beach. It's a small island; almost everything is on a hill. Cleaning is only every 3-4 days or on request; this isn't a 5-star hotel! This is the ONLY truly Green Accommodation I have encountered; the owner deserves respect & gratitude for trying so hard against the wave of the non-caring. "Just left and had a great week!!! The two guys that mainly work the beach go the extra mile and are asset to the place!
We were a family of 4 in one room but plenty of room and all had super comfy beds. The rooms are bright and comfortable we had our own bathroom.
The restaurant serves a great selection of food and the all day a la carte breakfast was perfect!
The beach is beautiful and is fab for snorkelling and swimming. My kids did their Padi open water at the dive school next door which was also very good and convenient.
With out doubt the best spot on Tanote bay!!!
