Beautiful views - right on the edge of the water We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and liked that it is close but not in Seward, away from the town. Quiet, peaceful. We saw otters, porpoises, a whale, bald eagles - all from the lodge deck! The owners are friendly!

This is a wonderful, peaceful and gorgeous property at the end of the road in Seward. Kendall is an excellent and engaging host, and runs a beautiful establishment in a beautiful location. At times it can be a little challenging to get there since bus service doesn't run and some taxis in Seward don't like to go down the dirt road, but call Bob at 907-362-9090 and he will take you there. For us the isolation of the place made it all worthwhile. You can sit for hours and just take in the majestic mountains and the bay - it's paradise!

Comfortable lodge.

I don't think we were in the room for more than 6 hours. The room was spacious and had all the amenities you could want. It was dated but comfortable. We were in the converted barn that is not attached to the lodge itself. The space included a well-stocked kitchen. Beautiful views of the Bay with an easy walk-up to the water. Had we stayed longer we would have enjoyed more of the amenities such as the rocking chairs featured on the cover photo.

We always like that it is right on the beach , a kitchen to eat at and plenty of sesting outside . The breakfast choices could be better and better quality . Breakfast was pretty substandard

Away from the cruise ships in Seward

Location is incredible— on Resurrection Bay with views of the water, mountains and so many otters. Beds were very comfortable. The heat works and bathroom is clean and nice. Easy check in and out. No public transit options. We loved staying in the yurt😀
