"This is the second time my partner and I have stayed at Amadea in 4 months. This resort is an absolute gem!!! The location is extraordinary being in the heart of Seminyak’s best shopping and dining area yet built away from the main road so peace, tranquility and silence is guaranteed. With an easy ten minute walk to Petitenget Beach, 5 minutes to Seminyak Square and seconds to great shopping and dining the location is supreme. The amenities are clean and stylish, gardens luscious, pools and sunbathing areas easy to access and the rooms are spacious, well equipped, stylish and more than sufficient to satisfy the fussiest of traveller. The team here are world class. The service is flawless. The breakfast buffet is simply awesome with choices changed daily. We simply cannot recommend this place highly enough and we’re looking forward to our next visit in December (hopefully sooner). "

"Staying at this Airbnb in Ubud, Bali was honestly one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, everything felt peaceful, intentional, and beautifully designed. The space itself was spotless and thoughtfully decorated, blending modern comfort with traditional Balinese charm. Every detail—from the cozy bedding to the open-air living areas—made it feel like a private sanctuary. The location was perfect: tucked away enough to feel calm and secluded, yet still close to great restaurants, shops, and all the cultural spots Ubud is known for. Waking up to the sounds of nature and lush greenery all around was something special—it’s the kind of place where you actually slow down and enjoy where you are. The hosts was equally incredible—warm, responsive, and genuinely helpful without ever being intrusive. They made sure everything was smooth from check-in to check-out and even shared great local recommendations that made the trip even better. If you’re looking for a place in Ubud that feels both luxurious and authentic, this is it. I would come back in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful, beautiful escape in Bali."

"This hotel felt very poorly suited to our needs, and we encountered multiple issues throughout our stay. We booked the Villa Suite, which had an unusual layout. Only the bedrooms were air-conditioned, while the living areas and bathrooms were not. This made it uncomfortable to spend time outside the bedroom or even use the bathroom. The bathroom was partially open to the outdoors and directly connected to the bedroom, which led to lizards coming inside. We even found a dead lizard in our room that appeared to have been there for some time. Basic amenities were also lacking: there was no hair conditioner available anywhere in the hotel, iron for clothes and the towels were old and worn. There were very limited activities offered. Instead of options like yoga, there was a bracelet-making class scheduled at an inconvenient time in the afternoon. The food was also disappointing. Room service seemed pre-prepared, as if it had been sitting for hours and wrapped in plastic, resulting in meals that tasted stale and unappetizing. Despite raising these concerns, the hotel was not accommodating and did not offer any refunds for the room, food, or other issues. Overall, this was far from a five-star experience and fell well below expectations."
