"This was my fourth stay at the Aqualuz. The hotel is perfect for me, and it is right in the middle of one of my favourite parts of the world to visit. I am there for work, so I have ideal access for where I need to be, in an extremely comfortable hotel, with spacious rooms and great facilities (including breakfast, the pool, and the bars/restaurants), and (the highlight) to have near-direct access to an incredibly beautiful beach. "Like another review stated, we wish we booked a longer stay at Tagus Marina Houseboat! We booked this for our last night in Lisbon, to be close to the airport and to surprise the kids with a neat experience and did we ever succeed! The houseboat was fully equipped for longer stays and was extremely comfortable for us 4 - two adults, two children (9&7). "We got everything we needed in the room. The kitchen was fully equipped, and receiving fresh bread and different pastries every morning was a highlight! The room was also cleaned every day.The reception staff were absolutely lovely. Tanya, in particular, helped us with local attractions, and her honest advice was super."

"The location for this hotel is excellent if you are staying in the area. However, the check-in process was very difficult as we had arrived with our young child before the formal check-in time and would have paid extra for early check-in after an overnight flight. Front desk staff were not helpful, getting any support was like pulling teeth. "We stayed there 5 nights and it was wonderful. The location is great and convenient to everything. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The front desk people were friendly and helpfull. We would highly recommend it!"
