"We loved this hotel. The location was perfect - nestled right between the Grand Boulevard Shoppes and Baytown Wharf. The room was a nice size, very clean and inviting. We had a beautiful view looking to the hotel across the way. The mattress was so comfortable - I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud and my husband who has back and hip issues is challenged to find a comfortable bed when we're away, but he commented on how his back and hip didn't bother him at all. We stopped at the lobby bar for Happy Hour and the atmosphere was cozy, the bartender was friendly and attentive, and the drinks were good at a great price - my husband loved the margarita with a sugar rim. The included breakfast was a standard buffet with scrambled eggs, oatmeal, pancakes, sausage, fruit compote, and typical continental buffet items, well done and a perfect start to the day. Overall we were very pleased with this hotel and would stay here again."

"Hall ways looked dirty and worn, breakfast was a joke, out of everything, and food everywhere where people had dropped it on the counter, very understaffed in the breakfast area "

"We didn’t overlook the beach. It would cost an additional $20 so we elected to keep the room we were given. "

"Everything was great except when I went to do laundry the washers were dirty and when I went to dry my clothes the one on the left dried the clothes the one on the right did not dry the cloth the I thought it might have been because I had 3 beach towels so I put $2.00 in and they did not dry so my clothes in the dryer on the left finished drying so I put my towels in that dryer on the left side and they dried I called the front desk to let them know what had happened and the lady got a little disrespectful telling me they won’t let me refund that much I told her I wasn’t lookin for a refund I was just letting them know what had happened so other guests wouldn’t have the same problem and I hung up, she should have listened to what I was saying instead of getting rude."
