came here super last minute and we were able to get a room right away. super friendly staff! pool and hot-tub were nice and the hotel is right on the beach and the strip. walked everywhere instead of needing to drive and park. we would choose this hotel again.

I know the property is in renovation so noise was ok Pool and Hot tub could have been cleaner Lots of sand and grim on sides around water edge Temp of water in both pool and hot tub very good Even though its in renovation be sure all rooms being rented out and in great condition and not needing small repairs or maintenance ie faucets aerators on faucets drapes hanging doors sticking carpets very dirty. Even though we experienced some of these we will return Staff was very friendly and accomedating

The Promenade Inn has an excellent location, right on the walking promenade strip and overlooking the sand and ocean with our room having a full front view! Our room was beautifully updated with a full and loaded kitchen with gorgeous countertops! Our bathroom also had new countertops and shower walls. The indoor pool and hot tub were fantastic, and overlooked the Promenade and ocean! All the staff were very polite, friendly and responsive. We will definitely stay here again!!

Well, I was attracted by the indoor hot tub and pool. But unfortunately; -there is poor ventilation and therefore it is like a sauna in there. You can’t crack a window or anything. So it made it hard to enjoy the area. It was hard to breathe. Gym unusable! -hot tub temperature was not regulated and burning hot. None of us could use it because it was just too hot. Multiple guests agreed it cause you to faint if you were to actually get in it. Yes, reported to front desk. -So it was feet only. But then you would need to go jump in the pool afterward because the combination of the sauna heat atmosphere and that boiling water was just unbearable.!! -Then they decided to clean the pool early Sunday morning. So we were not even able to try the pool in the early hours for remedy. -Not an enjoyable time because of the fact it was closed all the way until Check!!! So sheeesh that was a waste of amenities. -NO snacks for breakfast in lieu of no continental Brest. WOW! /great staff though! Clean place. Great views The TV remote did not work. So the TV was stuck on one Syfy channel the whole time.front desk came up with another remote and that didn’t work. said he’d be back and never returned. So then we got to watch the cooking channel only for the rest of stay. Also, poor ventilation and no air conditioning in rooms. They do provide a small box fan. You can use that to circulate the humid room. Or you can open a window or your door for fresh air. Cool RM set up tho!

We paid $225 a night and were in the part of the hotel that isn't renovated yet. Pretty small and no air conditioner in August.

The place was just purchased by someone new & they’re doing big renovations, that said, hopefully the issues we have with it, will be gone soon. Everything is just old, very old. Front desk guy was nice, friendly, helpful. They brought blankets requested very quickly. The beach is beautiful, like the entire coast. Easy access, we had a balcony beach front room and the view/sounds were great. The place was clean, kitchenette was nice. Fireplace was a nice touch. The bad: No AC - it’s humid and a little sticky. Construction, obviously it needs to happen, but there were chunks of roof falling down past us on the balcony. Like if you stuck your head it it would hit you. The hallways smell pretty weird, there are little flies everywhere due to the open air hallways, probably because of the dank smell lol Room was clean- but the TV is about 20 years old- volume didn’t work right, art/valence super old, carpet kinda yucky looking, feet turned black from it really quick, bathroom door was had peeling veneer, trim was peeling. I gave 3 starts because the place is in a great location, it was clean, friendly staff & I know they’re doing improvements.

I realize you’re under new management and you are remodeling. We were in room 302, the view was great but the carpet was so disgusting, I walked around the room barefoot and then got in the shower and bottom of the tub was totally dirty from my fee walking on the carpet. The other thing was I know the construction is suppose to end at the 6:00 pm but the room above us was still being worked on till 12:30 am

Oceanview was wonderful. Staff was nice and helpful. Having to wait an hour to check is was not great but staff was apologetic and nice about it. The hammering and drilling on our wall was a little unpleasant when you are trying to take a nap. Overall it was mice.

We are not really satisfied with the stay . The rooms were really dirty. The pool was horrible and dirty as well. The staff in the office was horrible as well not good customer service.

Hotel was under construction, so they are addressing the need for upgrades. The Good: There were fresh towels, linens, and bathroom supplies available anytime we asked. Most of the front desk staff were helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed throughout our stay. It was great that the parking lot was staffed so that we always had a place to park when coming back from outings. The Bad: There were swarms of flies that you had to walk through when getting off the elevators - gross. The smell of burnt cooking oil with fish essence from the restaurant was strong by the elevators. The parking lot facing rooms open their windows directly in the walking path of everyone else on that floor, and with no way to secure your window partially open, we had to suffer through a hot room all night Hopefully they install A/C in the remodel.

We had to move rooms after the first night. Door didn’t lock. Everything was horribly outdated and grungy. The shower caulk was coming off in the tub faucet . Severe water damage to the bathroom door. The staff moved us into another room. Still outdated, but did not have anchored filled in holes from something being pulled off the wall. The Door locked- woo hoo! The Sliding door screen closed all the way as well. The location made up for the room. The location is amazing!

2 out of 5 stay. The sliding glass door doesn't actually lock and there are no added locks or security on any of the MANY other doors into the room. I didn't feel comfortable sleeping there. It was hot and muggy and the only breeze we could get was with the sliding door open. The fan didn't work and the replacement fan was super noisy. The pool area was muggy and hot so the hot tub was not enjoyable. The elevators are sketchy and the hallway actually scares me with how slanted it is. Construction on the building should have been noted when I made the reservation. Especially since it forces you to come to the parking lot along an incredibly tiny street on the other side of the hotel.

Upon arriving I was told my reservation I paid for was not available. It was very late and I had 2 kids with me. I even called prior to arriving and my room was available. I had to drive an hour away and pay twice as much to get a room. Hotel blamed Expedia. Expedia was t available to help remedy the situation at time of checkin. Had to go back and forth just to get refunded for a room never got. Didn't know Expedia and hotels over book.

the staff is nice but there is NO A/C, you have to request a fan, it was so loud and the hotel is extremely outdated. Parking was blocked off even though we were staying there, so we had to circle around and ask for an attendant who finally let us in after we just waited in front of cones that were blocking the hotel parking. This hotel is really bad. there was a construction light also in the hallway outside our room that shone into the room all night, and even with the curtains completely closed, it was so bright. the noise level from above and next door were super loud. the location is nice but this hotel was just awful.

The hotel is in a good spot right next to the beach and parking was good. They were remodeling or doing some updates to the hotel so every morning we got woken up by power tools or some other clanking. My patio didn’t have a lock on it at all. I went to front desk and they did end up giving me a piece of wood to keep it locked that way. Staff was nice but kinda overpriced for all the issues it had and the mattress was not good at all.

Great Stay — and Only Getting Better! With the exception of one receptionist, the staff was absolutely fabulous. The property, though older, was impressively clean — hats off to the team for that! I really commend the owners for recognizing the need for updates and moving forward with a remodel. I’ve got a feeling that once it’s done, this place will be booked solid. Get in while you can — we had a GREAT stay!
