"Room is very clean with clean towels too. Lot of parking space and very convenient. Only that our room is right next to the entrance door and stairs, so every-time we hear steps and doors. Definitely if there’s a chance of coming back to visit, i would stay again here."

"It was nice having the restaurant and bar on site"

"Beautiful Inn and great location! Staff was super nice …"

"Had the best time and ant wait to go back"

"Clean nice place. No balcony in our room, nor kitchen but fridge and microwave. Lighting a bit too blue- sort of florescent. Proximity to beach hard to beat."

"Everybody traveling through Santa Cruz should stay at the Monarch Cove Inn. Come to see the Monarch butterflies. Or watch for whales and otters from the deck! The rooms are pretty and comfortable. The staff are very helpful."

"A quaint hotel right smack dab in the middle of town…the free taxi to Shadowbrook was a plus! We walked everywhere which we appreciated as we enjoy a cocktail every now and then."

"The staff were all great!! The rooms were great!! Thanks again"

"Rooms clean, easy parking, and it’s 10 minutes from downtown. Perfect little spot"

"Room wasn’t ready at check in and wasn’t ready until one hour after check in, took multiple requests over 3 hours to get an extra blanket, no pool towels available for the majority of our stay, water pressure in shower was insanely strong to the point of almost being painful, tub didn’t drain fast enough so you were showering while standing in rising water in the tub."
