The room was clean and looled inviting. They are not the most modern rooms but everything is in good shape. The hotel itself and the property is really nice. The Hafenbar right at the water is great. The restaurant offers views of the lake too. There's paths to go for a walk. We didn't use the spa for lack of time.

our room was nice enough, we paid for an upgraded room with a separate living room. It was nice and spacious as was the bathroom. The problem is mainly for dinner service they don't have enough staff. All we tried to do was get a pizza and it took an inordinate amount of time and we were really tired and hungry, eventually finally getting our pizza at about 940, eating at by 10 and going straight to bed afterward, which wasn't an enjoyable experience. they would only let you order à la carte pizza after dinner service any instance that you didn't want to do the full dinner and the restaurant - so after 8:30. I called and nobody answered, so I left a message to order pizza at 8:30. Nobody got the message so we had to walk over to the lobby and order it in the restaurant, and then we waited a very long time. It was not enjoyable. For breakfast the next morning, a lot of things were already gone from the buffet - they had a hard time keeping things replenished. (Much worse than the hotel that we had stayed at the night before for the same price, which also had a separate living room and bedroom/bathroom and was in a larger town and where the breakfast was plentiful, well-stocked and not picked over like this breakfast was.) The grounds are nice and the lake is beautiful and it's very calm and relaxing, but I wouldn't stay there again because I didn't feel like the value for my money was worth it, and it wasn't a luxurious experience because of the service level.

Schöne Lage, aber erhebliche Probleme mit der Sauberkeit Die vorhandenen Annehmlichkeiten haben uns grundsätzlich gut gefallen. Die Anlage wirkte auf uns jedoch stellenweise deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und nicht ausreichend gepflegt. Bei unserer Rückkehr am Abend bemerkten wir im Badezimmer einen mit Hygieneartikeln und weiteren Abfällen gefüllten Mülleimer. Außerdem fanden wir Haare und Schmutz auf dem Teppich, ein Insekt, einen auffälligen rötlichen Fleck sowie deutliche Verschmutzungen an der Armatur. Für ein frisch übergebenes Hotelzimmer war dieser Zustand für uns nicht akzeptabel. Nach unserer Reklamation wurde uns zunächst ein Zimmer angeboten, das auf uns gegenüber der gebuchten Kategorie wie ein Downgrade wirkte. Schließlich erhielten wir eine Suite, in der allerdings ebenfalls kleinere Verschmutzungen und deutliche Gebrauchsspuren vorhanden waren. Zusätzlich warteten wir spätabends etwa eine halbe Stunde auf die neuen Zimmerkarten. Der gesamte Wechsel war erst gegen 23:42 Uhr abgeschlossen. Das Personal war freundlich und bemüht. Die Suite war letztlich eine angemessene Lösung – andernfalls wären wir abgereist. Aufgrund der festgestellten Mängel in mehreren Zimmern entstand bei uns dennoch der Eindruck, dass Reinigung und abschließende Zimmerkontrolle nicht zuverlässig funktionieren. Beim Auschecken wurden wir nicht gefragt, wie unser Aufenthalt gewesen sei. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt enttäuschend. Wir würden dieses Hotel nicht noch einmal buchen.

Die Lage ist wahrscheinlich leider das einzige Merkmal, das einem 4-Sterne-Haus wirklich gerecht wird. Die Zimmer waren zwar sauber, wirken jedoch deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Besonders die Dichtungen in der Dusche sollten dringend erneuert werden. Das Essen ist sehr hochpreisig, konnte qualitativ jedoch keineswegs überzeugen. Das Grillbuffet bot eine enttäuschende Auswahl, und der Kalbsrücken war leider völlig trocken gebraten. Auch die Beilagen waren stark überwürzt. Insgesamt war für uns keines der angebotenen Gerichte den aufgerufenen Preis auch nur annähernd wert. Das Personal war grundsätzlich freundlich, wirkte jedoch teilweise überfordert. Enttäuschend ist zudem, dass Sauna, Bademäntel und weitere Wellnessleistungen zusätzlich berechnet werden. Gerade bei einem Haus, das einen wesentlichen Teil seiner Attraktivität offenbar aus dem Wellnessbereich ziehen möchte, ist das aus unserer Sicht sehr schwach und wenig überzeugend. Insgesamt stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis leider nicht.
