  • Lake George Steamboat Company offers a variety of tours and tour lengths on three different boats. This is the Mohican, their largest. The trip was about 2.5 hours, cost about $23 per person and traveled from the southern point of the lake to about half way north. There is a snack bar but I did not visit it. There is commentary talking about the history of the lake, area and some of the houses. It was a very relaxing and pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

Room was clean. The bed was comfortable with good quality sheets and pillows. Towels were of good size and quality. The snacks and water bottles were a nice touch, and the fridge and microwave helped us to eat in the room as there are VERY few eat out locations. The bedroom and bathroom were very spacious. It is an older building, but it met my needs for the stay.
