"The room was clean, spacious and well appointed. The bed was quite firm. The area around the hotel was very busy and loud - but it easy walking distance to the festival grounds where Oktoberfest is held and to the main train station. It is a bit further out from the Marienplatz and main part of town. There is a decent bar in the lobby and they offer luggage storage. There are several dining options near the hotel with cuisines from many different countries."

"We travel a lot, Germany was not necessarily the easiest to find small properties with reasonable prices. Many businesses had intentionally inflated their rates because of Oktoberfest. As fun and festive Oktoberfest is to experience, the event is located in a large outside space that you need to find your way to, and navigate through thousands of festival goers and probably get discouraged from paying for overpriced food and beer, especially when it’s next to impossible to enter a bier garten....
