"I genuinely think this hotel is just basic. For the price you would expect more better looking interior, freshness/cleanliness or service. It’s got no parking on site contrary to what they put up except street parking. The stench of old rug mixed with moisture welcomes you upon entrance, hallway small. Staff just about okay, breakfast; basic stuff you can get from any bnb setting. The only positive was the size of the room. Again we chose that cos of our family size. Sorry, it’s a no from me....

"Great location for all areas of Scarborough. If you want a no frills place to stay with on street parking costing just £8 for 24 hours this place fits the bill. "The property was clean and the communication from the owners was good. However it does need some time spending on getting things sorted. All the beds need new mattresses we had to put all the duvets down to sleep on top of and even brought an air bed due to being so uncomfortable. Some other minor points, the kettle lid was broken and could only be opened by picking from the side (not safe when hot). The curtain rail in the main bedroom was hanging out of the room. "We stayed over for the concert at the open air. The hotel was clean and well maintained- all the staff were polite and friendly. Our room was clean. The bar was lovely and the restaurant and breakfast was perfect. The en-suite was very small but clean. The only thing that would have meant full star rating would have been a better parking arrangement, - a quality mattress and blackout curtains. That being said we would definitely stay here again."
