"Clean and nice but a bit noisy outside my room a boiler or something"

"We stayed last Nov & didn’t have a great stay, mainly issues with the spa, cleanliness & spa staff. However stayed a couple of weeks ago & was great. Different girls on Spa desk who were lively. Used the gym - 1st class & had the place to myself. Pool pretty good, still needs a bit more frequent tidying up & attention to detail around the edges. Breakfast amazing, staff up there have always been 1st class. Beautiful setting as always ⭐️"

"Overall always a wonderful experience at the Haslem, great location with lots of parking. Staff are always lovely and accommodating. Food is great and it's a very modern hotel with nice big clean rooms. Anytime I'm in the area I will stay here! No complaints at all from me."

"Exceptionally great value for a busy seaside town such as Newcastle. Check-in staff was excellent as were the rest of the staff we met. The continental breakfast was absolutely adequate and free, so great value. Room facilities were adequate as well and the bathroom was great with plenty of hot water and shower get, shampoo etc.. Great location, free parking right outside and nearby. Highlight was The Donard being so dog friendly and dog welcoming. Definitely now my place of choice to stay when we visit Newcastle. "

"The room was clean, bottles of water available and re-stocked daily. The staff overall were friendly and amenable, some more so than others. Breakfast was buffet selection, the service received was dependent on the staff. On the second morning we were served coffee at the table, rather than using the machine, and asked as we entered. From another client were informed that omelettes and poached eggs were available. This was not mentioned, nor advertised, yet there is a booklet on where all breakfast items are sourced Unable to comment on the bar. My only issue, which I did raise with reception, however more likely the booking platform rather than the hotel, was the price increase a few days before our arrival. I personally feel the price advertised at the time of booking, should be the price I'm paying, not an inflated price. "

"We had a lovely stay at the Dundrum Inn. A really homely feeling. Rooms beautifully decorated. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Food was delicious. Totally recommend it. We definitely will be back."
