A unique place. rebuilt older mansion very nicely done. loved the experience and the caretaker was quite a nice guy. I was travelling on my own and it was so nice to stay in a place that is not just a cookie cutter chain hotel.

We loved most everything about this place. From the historical building, to our room (The Baker Mountain Room), to the added touch of Starbucks & Dunkin Donuts K-cups & a Keurig in the front room 24/7. John, the caretaker, is amazing. He helped us out when our car got stuck and he is a great host. We visit a relative in Saranac twice a year and we definitely plan to stay there again.

Easy stay. Large room, easily accessible, good instructions! The one item is the we couldn’t open the window (AC on it) so the room got stuffy. Otherwise, great place and would come again!
