Very clean and I enjoyed the free breakfasts. It was noisy outside due to construction, but the sliding wall covering the window blocked out just about all of the train and construction noise. I'd bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper, however.

Simple, clean, friendly staff and a 5 minute walk to Sapporo station. You can’t ask for more if you have to catch an early flight, bus or train.

The hotel is located close to the JR station, which is very convenient for transportation. Some convenience stores are near the hotel and there are many famous restaurants too.

The variety of the free breakfast buffet was a minimum and poor. You can't expect a regular one of buffet though you can somehow fill your stomach.

No complain at all due to the price that is reasonably low for New Year and last minute booking that I made. Few things to note (and probably to improve by the hotel) 1. Breakfast, I know it’s complimentary breakfast but providing the exact same menu for 5 consecutive days are not a good idea. Just a comment. 2. The room is already small which I have no issue with, but providing pants press in the room just take up a bit of space. 3. Low floor may be disturbed by train noise, yes the train runs till late 12midnight and starts early like 5.30am. But if you are too tired I guess this noise won’t wake you up. 4. Check in and check out were smooth, lobby was great but the room is dated and need improvement. Again, for the price I paid, it’s acceptable. 5. After reading all my comments above and you decide to book this hotel, here is the direction you can follow. Once you get out from Sapporo station, look for a building called Paseo West. There are 3 sections of Paseo (East, Central and West) make sure you choose West. You will enter an alley where *bucks on your left and 711 on your right, just go straight further. You will reach the end at the glass door, cross the road to the opposite building called “bridge”. You can see signages of Daiso, Tsutaya, St Marc Cafe, etc then enter the glass door on your left, walk straight from the left hand alley till reach the end and you will see Family Mart right across the street. JR inn is right across it.

Good location, close to JR station. Very friendly staff, simple but delicious breakfast. Room is a bit small but very convenient and it is enough for us: one adult and a child.

Clean no frills Hotel with self-service laundry at the lobby. Breakfast buffet is limited but it's free-flow of the local products (yogurt / potato salad) is delicious. The beds are firm but the pillows are rather flat. There's a Lawson store right across the street and the Sapporo train station is within 10 mins walk with 2 shopping malls.

The hotel is conveniently located near JR Sapporo Station and room is clean and spacious. Breakfast is readily available and guests also have a choice of their own pillows at the lobby! Enjoyed the service there!

No frills nice hotel in a convenient location
New hotel in a quiet intersection but within walking distance to department store, train station, subway, malls and eating places. As expected, the double room and bathroom was small but clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and told us about the new ramen stores at the mall in the train station so it saved us the time of going to the Sapporo Ramen Street 2 subways away. Hotel also provided unlimited complimentary toiletries sachets at the reception. Breakfast was simple but we cannot complain as it was complimentary.

Thank you for staying at JR Inn Sapporo. This hotel is located about a 5-minute walk from JR Sapporo Station, and has been well received by many customers in terms of location. Did you enjoy your meal at the ramen shop that the staff guided you? A corner where you can bring bathing agents and body towels freely is installed in the front lobby. Please bring as much as you need. Due to the lounge and kitchen facilities, it is difficult to provide rice for breakfast, and it is possible to provide a simple menu such as bread and salad. We are devoted to the satisfaction of our customers, so we hope you will be able to choose this hotel again when you come to Sapporo next time.

Satisfactory hotel in Sapporo
We stayed in Sapporo for three nights. The city was good to get around and subways were good. We walked a lot to parks and attractions. The hotel is near the Sapporo station and restaurants are reasonably close. We had a great dinner at 43 Degrees restaurant one subway stop from the train station. The JR Sapporo Inn was ok but the room lacked that overall comfortable feeling. Check in was good and staff helpful.

Excellent hotel and free breakfast
The location of this hotel is excellent. The rooms were clean. Very close to eating places, shopping areas and the train station. The hotel workers are very friendly. We really enjoyed the free breakfast. This breakfast is very simple but everything tasted really good. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Sapporo. Thank you.
