All in all a very good experience - nice area, stunning views from the balcony, apartment in very good shape and clean. Friendly, helpful and welcoming people. There's no breakfast service - but doing this ourselves on a private balcony with fantastic views is much better...

Lovely place

Me and my partner had a wonderful time here. The studios are wonderful, lovely view of the ocean. Very clean pool, beautiful garden, friendly owners. Would 100% recommend, if you look for a quiet town to stay at.

Very nice people, nice and clean appartments. Very spacious. Ideal location for diffferent hikes in the region. Beautiful view, very quiet and nice swimming pool. We had dinner 4 times at the hotel restaurant and it was very good. The owners are super friendly and helpfull. We will come back again and can defintitely reccommend this hotel.

Shorttrip January 2019 - 3 nights Well maintained modern property, ocean view, AND QUIET, a bit remote, but that's what I wanted. Safe neighborhood. You need a car - parking on the property. Friendly welcome. Worry about the shadow from the high mountains? Sunlight at the pool until 16:00 in mid January. My appartement (one of only 8) was spacious and in good condition. Cleaning everyday. Quiet air condition. Living room with kitchen/dinette, fully equipped, TV with international channels, bedroom with separate air, fully equipped bathroom. Balcony heading north with seating. Great view. I recommend to download MADEIRA as offline-map from GOOGLE-maps to find the place. THANKS and have a great vacation.

Beautiful location in a quiet village. 2 minutes walk from the church, where there is a small café where you can also have a coffee or breakfast. Food in the restaurant was very good. Tip: ask them beforehand for fresh fish.

Nice place on the north coast of Madeira. Pleasant village with a small supermarket. The location is perfect. However a car is needed when you want to gi for a day hike. There is a restaurant at the Casa. Provides good meals. Friendly staff.

Hôtel très bien situé pour découvrir cette île magnifique. Le nord de l'île est particulièrement beau. Le surnom de "petite Réunion" lui va parfaitement : montagnes, mer, cascades, fleurs, palmiers, bananiers, rhum.... Dépaysement total en plein océan (1000 km de Lisbonne et 700 km des côtes africaines). Les portugais sont très accueillants, la nourriture très bonne et abordable (poissons grillés ou marinés, légumes et salades frais et variés).

Met echtgenote hier vier nachten doorgebracht. Opvallend: netheid van de ruimten en de kamers en het super vriendelijke personeel. Echt een familiehotel, waarbij iedereen heel erg gemotiveerd is het je naar de zin te maken. Minpuntjes zijn er ook, zoals de wat ons betreft te harde bedden en het ontbreken van de mogelijkheid om te ontbijten. Het prima verzorgde en lekkere avondeten maakte dat weer ruim goed, hoewel de keuze op het menu iets beperkt is. Ronduit verkeerd is het steeds haperende WiFi netwerk. Daar moeten ze echt iets aan doen. Een foto uploaden naar WhatsApp ging vaak óf niet, óf het duurde meerdere minuten. Het zwembad is perfect. Mooi aangelegd, fijne omgeving. Al met al een bijzonder aanbevelenswaardige locatie.

Hôtel très bien

Nous avons passé 3nuits dans ce petit hôtel (environ 15 chambres). Très calme piscine agréable belle vue sur l'océan.accueil sympathique. Chambres très bien équipée d'un coin cuisine avec tout le nécessaire. Idéal pour visiter le nord de l'île.

Super voor kinderen

Warm, kleinschalig familiehotel. We hadden maar 3 dagen hier en dus 2 boze kinderen die niet terugwilden naar de saaie bejaardencentra in funchal. En ook nog de halve prijs. Hele eiland prima te bereizen binnen 45 minuten.

Ruhige Lage mit Meerblick

Wir waren vom 28.12.2015 bis 11.01.2016 in dieser Anlage.Die Apparttements sind grosszügig ausgestattet mit grosser Terrasse.Wir waren bis kurz vor unserer Abreise die einzigsten Gäste. Leider war der Pool leer und das Cafe hatte nur zeitweise geöffnet.Der Zimmerservice war trotzdem hervorragend.Die Anlage entspricht ansonsten den Bildern.Wirklich eine sehr schöne Lage.Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen ist auch,das die Sonne durch die naheliegenden Berge sich nicht bis zur Anlage durchsetzten konnte.Trotzdem hat es uns sehr gut gefallen und wir würden zu einer anderen Jahreszeit jederzeit wieder buchen.Zur Anreise würde ich ein Mietauto empfehlen,da Ponta Delgada sich doch abseits des Touristenstroms im Norden der Insel befindet.
