The location of this hotel is it's main attraction

The hotel is in need of some TLC. In an area where water is precious the showers seem to do more for cleaning the bathroom than cleaning oneself. The beds seem to be on the hard side. The rooms are very basic in terms of the fixtures and fittings and need a more professional finish for the price. However, what the hotel lacks in terms of it's physical condition the staff more than make up in their helpfulness and friendliness. There is a lot of variety in room size, so most needs can be accommodated and the staff do adjust to suit the guests' needs if they possibly can.

Island Wedding Hotel stay

The outside facilities of this hotel is perfect with a pool, beach side restaurant bar and its own beach beds and umbrellas. All staff without exception were wonderful, friendly and genuinely wanted us to have a good stay at the hotel. An easy walk into Kamari finds the restaurants, restaurants and shops. Breakfast is basic, but lunch menu offers everything you need and the Greek Salad is one of the best I've eaten. Our room was immaculately clean but fittings are tired. This didn't impact our stay though as we didn't spent that much time in our room. Bed was comfortable and room was spacious. The hotel is in the flight path for inbound flights so planes fly quite low throughout the day. This is literally for about 10-15 seconds at a time so actually no big deal.

Hotel très sale, avec aéroport a proximité donc les avions qui passent très bas avec beaucoup de bruit. Piscine limite propre aucune baignade pour notre parts. Chambre très veille rien à voir avec les photos du site. Douche et WC très sale à notre arrivé, lavé uniquement avec de la javel au bout de 2 nuits car nous l'avons demandé.

Beautiful outside area, dumpy room

Pool area beautiful. Staff really nice but the room really sucked. Bathroom shower was so small everytime i turned the curtain moved and my shower would hose down the toilet area. Planes fly overhead and are loud as hell. Only one night there or i would left early.

Not a good value for money..

I'll start with the good things : 1. Nice seeming pool. 2. Nice stuff, always helpful, smiling and good attitude. The bad: 1. Breakfast Is very basic and it took time to bring new stuff if it was missing, like water for instance. 2. Very very basic room. No wifi, small TV with very bad quality. WiFi was mostly near the reception. I've expected to get a lot more for the price I paid. We were happy to leave for our next destination. I'm sorry giving this not nice comment but this was our experience. It's close to the restaurants in the area but you have to walk on the beach for 5 min.

The worst hotel you will ever stay at

Read this before you book!!! Dont book this hotel unless you like worn out interior, shower which is not working, toilet which is not working, dirty shower curtains, sleepless night with flights right above your head - you can see the airport runway from the hotel!!! No service at all, phone didnt work, TV was from 1970`s probably. AC and fridge made so much noise that had to be turned off!! Breakfast is doesnt look fresh and choices are less and dirty in breakfast room. By checkin we had to wait 1 hour extra, and other customers who came after us were given rooms before. Dirty toilets. Painting scratches on the wall, sofa and lamp had stains.. Wifi is not working good, and the electricity goes on and off. As couple we didnt get double bed but two single beds - ridiculous. The pictures are probably from opening day, missleads customers - cant belive Hotels. com offers this hotel...

I would never stay here. I unfortunately prepaid as part of a package but instead of 4 days I left after a few hours. It should only be rated 1 star but it's saving grace is the pool. The rest of the property is horrible. Wifi is only available in the lobby and it's weak. The receptionist even told me to use the adjacent hotel's wifi. She showed me 6 rooms and suites and they all sucked. The bathroom is scary. Never again.

beautiful santorini

We arrived early and was accommodated. The social areas were beautiful. Breakfast everyday, very nice. (I would have liked to have had access to coffee earlier). The staff was wonderful. We became friends with the fantastically helpful, pleasant and kind Maria at the reception desk. She gets 10 stars!!!!!! Our first room was a bit old and very small. Maria relocated us to another room which was very nice. The views from all the rooms was breathtaking! If you go, get up and catch a sunrise!! Very easy walk to beach road, the down town area. We fell in love with Thalassa and Santorini!!! I will be returning!

Hotel situato direttamente sul mare, con personale estremamente gentile. Ottima colazione, camera e struttura pulite. Unica pecca è la distanza dalla zona animata di kamari che di sera si può raggiungere solo attraverso strade isolate e buie.

Lasciate perdere!

Questo hotel potrebbe esserr considerato un due, massimo tre stelle. Le camere sono datate, i bagni in condizioni pessime e la pulizia lascia a desiderare. La colazione è poco varia e la cortesia del personale è discutibile. Mi sono svegliata in continuazione a causa degli aerei che atterranno al vicino aeroporto. Le uniche cose positive sono la piscina e gli ombrelloni gratuiti in spiaggia. A mio parere il prezzo è assolutamente fuori mercato per il servizio offerto. Da dimenticare.

Hyggelig og sjarmerende hotell ved stranda.

Hyggelige ansatte som gjør sitt beste for å få gjestene til å trives best mulig. Noe støy fra fly som lander ved flyplassen rett ved, men det ble vi rakt vant med. God mat. Vi spiste frokost hver dag, samt lunch og noen middager der, Siden hotellet ligger i enden av strandpromenadeen, så var det stille og rolig om natta,noe vi satte veldig pris på. Rent og fint på rommet hver dag. God informasjon om turmuligheter/ ting å gjøre på øya.

Beautiful beach location

The hotel staff were helpful. This was a difficult hotel to find from the bus stop. No one seemed to know it and the street had no name. Once we were there it was great. Wonderful beach location. Main problems were very loud jets landing and long way from bus.

Ok if you are a plane spotting backpacker!

Room was VERY basic. Bathroom was absolutely tiny - you had to step into the shower to open the door to get to the toilet. The hotel is situated at the end of the airport runway, and the reception staff are less than willing to help with anything from local information to locating a plug for the bathroom sink! High recommend NOT staying at this hotel! It is NOT a 4 star anything!

A lovely hotel, on the beach, excellent staff

On arrival I was gone an upgrade to my room which was a lovely start. Maria, the hotel receptionist, gave me a tour of the hotel and its facilities and introduced me to the staff and some of the guests. The room was very nice with views of the sea and a huge balcony. The staff at the hotel were so friendly and accommodating. There were always enough sun beds Avalon,e by the pool and on the beach. The beach, however, is built on volcanic rocks so there is no sand which made getting in and out of the sea a bit hairy but definitely worth it! The food in the hotel was lovely and medals and snacks were available throughout the day and evening. Maria, goes out of her way to ensure that all guests are happy and advised on excursions and books them on your behalf. She even tracked down my sunglasses that I left on a tour bus!

Great stay with great service

The local team is more than nice, big smiles and always ready to help. The pool is nice and breakfast in front of the waves is very romantic. Only bémol is the closest airport, bit still not such a big problem. Highly recomend.

Fronte mare bella posizione

La camera e' carina l'unica pecca e' il bagno. Ma la pulizia e' ottima il personale molto cordiale! La colazione non e' il massimo ma qualcosa da mangiare lo si trova. La piscina e' splendida, davanti la spiaggia. Ci si trova in una zona bellissima perché si e' vicinissimi a tutti i ristoranti e i negozietti di kamari, ma la spiaggia resta molto riservata e non affollata dai turisti. Ci sono gli aerei che passano molto bassi in quanto si e' vicino all'aeroporto ma a me non hanno dato per nulla fastidio. Per me e' stata la miglior posizione perché si e' al centro dell'isola e si arriva in poco tempo da qualsiasi parte. Ci tornerei!!

Run far away from this hotel

We made the big mistake of booking this hotel without seeing reviews and this was the the worst decision ever! The night before our arrival I emailed the hotel to confirm our pick up shuttle and to my shock I got an email from the hotel saying that they were overbooked and booked us for different dates, so they will be moving us to their sister hotel. We were promised an upgraded room for this inconvenience and assured that our stay would be very good. What was even more disappointing was that the sister hotel was in a totally different location than where we had wanted to be. We arrived at this other hotel and escorted to our room. It was not a room but a jail cell as it had no windows! The bathroom had half used toiletries still laying around and there was a huge yellow stain on the bed sheet. What kind of an upgrade was this? I immediately emailed the reservation representative expressing my distress over the situation and said that we either wanted to be moved back to our original hotel or wanted an immediate refund. I got no response. Long and short of it is that This hotel has done this to many of their guests ( we found out later after reading all the reviews). Please stay away from booking with this hotel even if you are offered the rooms for free!
