Stunning!!
From beginning to end we had a magical time. Opera Mansion was designed with nothing but luxury in mind. Every detail was well thought out. The private indoor pool and sauna were amazing. Our wonderful host Petra, was so sweet and available for anything we needed. Breakfast was made for us every morning fresh from the bar kitchen. We enjoyed our mornings on the Caldera Path and will dream of coming back again soon.

Opera Mansion is by far the best place we've ever stayed. The views were wonderful. Our hostess Valentini and her staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. Fira is a busy place, but Opera Mansion was a quiet respite. We stayed in most of our visit without wanting to venture into the crowds. Spend the extra for the private chefs dinner in the wine cellar. I cant imagine you could find a better place than this one.

Location was excellent, particularly if you would like to stay at Fira. It is close to the town square but at the same time right by the sea with an excellent view right outside the front door. The place does look exactly like in the pictures. The host was very helpful and friendly. Even during the winter, there were restaurants that deliver to the house and we found the location quite convenient.
The only thing we would like to point out is that if you'll be spending a lot of time in the property, you should note that when you're inside the house there isn't much of a view as it is on the ground level and your view would be blocked by the wall. It's not a problem if you're looking to use the house as a base for exploring the island or if you plan to spend most of your time on the deck above the house. The indoor pool does make the inside of the house a bit steamy / smells like the pool, and there is at times some odor from in the bathroom which may be caused by the pool/plumbing - hope that's something the owner can fix. Other small improvements points - space/area for ladies to put on make-up would be nice.

This is a wonderful, beautiful and unique house with a personal property manager Valentini who has made our stay heavenly. Wish we could have stayed longer as we enjoyed the house and the island tremendously. Would love to return in near future and would definitely recommend to other couples. The views from the terrace are terrific, but the sunset views would be perfect in later months as the sunset was still behind the northern parts of island in June.
