Cresanto Luxury Suites

"Overall this is an excellent hotel. Some might find the location lacking, as it is ten minutes walk down a hill on the opposite side of the caldera. We found this location to be ideal, however, as it was away from the crowds, but within easy walking distance of restaurants overlooking the sought-after sunsets. We had the added bonus of waking to fabulous sunrises too, which we watched from our lagoon suite, with a private terrace and swim up pool; what's not to like. The location also offered a bus stop to Oia, within five minutes walk, and a twenty-five minute walk into Fira via the caldera cliff-side path. We did both. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The entire hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We did not use the gym or spa, but they did look to be good clean facilities. Two negatives, but only minor: It would have been nice if the pool was slightly heated. The cooked portion of the breakfast could have been a lot better, but there were many other options which we preferred, such as extremely fresh fruit and really good Greek yoghurt."

"Exactly as advertised. A short walk away from the busy town of Oia. Gorgeous views from suite rooms and from guest pool area. Incredible local fresh spread of breakfast every morning with the kindest staff and views of the water. Very accessible and close to so many places to eat, yet private and secluded."

"Every single staff member at the hotel was amazing and the room was really nice and clean! Dimitris at the front desk was an amazing host and gave us recommendations on the island, arranged pickups for us to/from the port/airport. Highly recommend if you want to stay in Pyrgos!"

"Room was clean. Aircon worked very well. Nespresso coffee machine was provided with some pods as well as tea and sugar and a bottle of water, as you want drink the water here. No milk, but that was no issue. Washing up liquid and sponge provided which was surprise as so many places I have been in Greece don't have. So that was great. We had booked a room with queen bed and single bed. As we were only two people they only made up the queen bed. We had to ask them to make the single bed as we were not sharing. Don't assume guests who are travelling together will share to save on your linen. This is why review is 4 star and not 5. To get to the terrace of the property you have to go back out the building and around the corner up some steps, not very obvious. Nice view, but be aware this doesn't have a sunset view. There is a view a the water."

"We have just departed following our wedding in Santorini. I can’t thank Costa Grand enough for how amazingly helpful they have been, no request was too big. We were offered a complimentary upgrade on our last night which we politely declined due to the amount of baggage we had unpacked but we appreciated the offer so much. We had approx 30 people staying with us at Costa grand so I had emailed a few months before and asked if we could possibly be close together in the hotel to reduce disruption to other guest around the pool, we never expected them to manage this but they did! Meaning all of our guests were in one area which was amazing. The amenities were great, food and drink were excellent and staff are extremely friendly and helpful."
