Its a bit mixed, bed was good and conformable, linen was clean but had a stain. Reception was a bit mixed, forst impression wasnt great, two members of staff on the desk, neither said hello, just carried on. No greating nothing, one looked up and my husband said we were checkin in. From that point the female staff was great. Next day at check out, male staff on reception was the same, I went over, nothing, said good morning and male staff finally looked up, and said good morning.
In the bedroom, who came up with the idea to add sound effect to the door lock when it opens? At night you can hear them from the corridor. Bedroom window need a darker bind, room shouls be completely dark so you can have a good night sleep.
Photos of the hotel are misleading, also told to not venture out after dark due to safety.
The cleaners and staff were lovely, however the location and overall condition of the hotel were a bit off.
Convenient having a convenience store on the bottom level, however some of the dance classes were noisy at the bottom level.

Friendly and helpful staff. Room were fine. But there wasn't any possibility for eating. The restaurant as well as the bar were closed.
When I arrived at the hotel I was feeling disheartened by what I saw…piles of garbage all over. Inside the hotel was clean, and the lady, Hermana (sp) spoke some English, and was so nice. The room was wonderful, and the bed was so comfortable that I was spend my whole holiday in it. The breakfast was delicious, and plentiful. I usually had a bowl of fruit with cream. Some toast and eggs. The area around the hotel looks very rough, but the people are so kind that it’s impossible to feel uncomfortable. I enjoyed my stay, and will make it a yearly visit
When the driver dropped me off at the hotel I was questioning my choice of hotels. The street looked inhospitable, but the piles of garbage on the sidewalk were gone the next day, and the place was mostly clean. Inside was very clean, and the staff were great. The cleaners came to my room each day and asked if they could clean. There was always someone mopping the main floor which glistened. By the end of my trip I knew the area well, and even a fee people. A 20 minute walk to the main downtown area is perfect. I already plan to return to the hotel Brasilia!
If anything, I praise part of their staff in reception who were approachable, respectful and helpful answering queries. Some were just not that interested and were just there “doing a shift”. The hotel itself needs proper cleaning and good investment to improve doors, windows and others. The area can be dangerous especially in the evenings and nights. Overall, it has potential, but can be an adventure.
Staffs are very nice to answer questions and provide some informations if need. My teeth was broken in the morning, one of the staff provided me the details of dentist. I m very pleased about that. Thanks for help.
When we arrived, they told us that Expedia canceled our booking.
We never canceled our booking. My last email I received was stating that I have until
March 5th to cancel it otherwise it is confirmed.
We booked 3 rooms with Mini fridge and microwave, there was only one room given to us with a fridge, no microwave s the microwave which was in the common area was filthy.
The toilet paper was placed on the tank as there was no holder.
This place does not deserve 1star
We paid for service which was not provided inspite of numerous requests, the answer was tomorrow, we were there for 3 nights
The hotel is not quite like what appears in the pictures or description.
The hotel is in a bad area. All businesses have steel gates and graffiti. We were warned about walking outside at night.
There is no phone in the room. To reach the front desk, you must use your cell phone and call the hotel. That's even on the check-in brochure.
Breakfast is scheduled to start at 8am. There is a picture of the breakfast buffet equipment covered in table clothes taken after 8am. They hadn't even started set-up and it was after 8.
Our room didn't have colored pillows or a bed runner/bed scarf. When we walked to the bed, we noticed long black hair and dirt marks on the comforter. We also didn't have a side chair in our room. There was one light on each stand next to the bed but they didn't match. The light fixture on the ceiling above the bed had been taped over with electric tape. The hanging light in the bathroom didn't even have a bulb. It's an open socket.
There were two old bath towels & two floor towels for outside the shower in the room. No washclothes for faces or hand towels for drying hands.
The hotel description mentions a bar. They have a physical bar structure but not a bar for drinks and socializing. There is a physical bar but it doesn't even have glasses on the shelves so it hasn't been used in a long time.

Without doubt or exaggeration the worst check in experience of any hotel, anywhere in the world. On arrival we were told to wait because the receptionist was dealing with another guest. This guest was not present. Ten minutes later she returned, apparently after leaving to get money. What followed was her tediously slow payment process, including going in and out of the hotel at least twice more. The receptionist never offered to check us in in-between. It was 25 minutes before we were dealt with, also excruciatingly slowly. At no point were we offered a seat, a drink or an apology.
The hotel itself is impossible to describe. It feels like a poor reproduction of the hotel in the pictures. It's in a fairly dingy back street. The lobby and breakfast area is massive and eerie with the feel of a disused government building. The room did not look like the photos: it was much more dated with an unusual mix of furniture and old curtains. The bed and bedding were mostly clean apart from a stain. Walls are thin and a gym in the same building is noisy.
Housekeeping procedures were baffling:
- the bed throw we had removed was taken and a new, dirty one placed on the bed
- 2 pillow protectors were replaced with children's cartoon pillowcases.
- perfectly good toiletries were thrown away
- the bathmat had been taken and not replaced and the hand towel had been draped over the back of the toilet. There was no 'do not disturb' sign.
Breakfast was mediocre and not replenished quickly.
