Very good breakfast, omlette and cheese especially.
Staff very helpful. Tour desk available, as well taxi transfer to the airport.
Area is in general quite, close to metro stations, we walked to Central station and bus station to get to Valparaiso and Vina del mar.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Breakfast area was nice. Room was very small for 3 guests, not enough space to walk comfortable, not even a chair will fit.
Interior was really modern and well renovated. Staff including front desk were super helpful, hospitable and friendly. Breakfast was really nice. They even gave me a bottle of wine as a welcome gift!
I definitely recommend this place!
The staff were fantastic. Very helpful to me in many ways. The only negative issue I had was the street noise. School kids were gathered at a fountain nearby making too much noise. Screaming, yelling, singing, up until 0200. I hardly slept at all.
It is a unique property; definitely a boutique hotel, which I prefer. I would recommend you ask for a 2nd or 3rd floor. My room on the 1st floor was right on the street with no privacy or natural light unless I opened the shutters.
Also, I arrived by taxi at night. As we drove through the surrounding neighbourhood, the "historic" area was more ghetto than I expected from their photos. Many of the older buildings that would have been grand back in the day, are empty, in need of major repair. Certainly the Concha Y Toro had been beautifully restored, renovated!
The front desk staff were wonderful, also. I did climb the stairs to their rooftop. Overall, a very pleasant stay..
the theatwas?
For the price, excellent value. Good vibe, nice common spaces, friendly, helpful staff and characterful property. Close to Museum of memory and Human Rights (about 2km, so walkable for us), which is why we stayed there. But a bit away from other popular points of interest. Was only there overnight, so can't say much about the rest of the neighbourhood, but it looked interesting.
Nice building, excellent staff, good breakfast and wine hour in the evening. Easy walk to central Santiago, or 3 minute walk to Republica stop on Metro. Only point to note is that room had no separate work table or chair, but plenty of seats and tables in public areas. Highly recommended for touring central Santiago.
We really liked the neighborhood and the property. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We were able to walk to the Palza de Armas, San Cristobal Hill, and the Museo Memoria. Also close to our favorite little restaurant Na Que Ver (ate there twice!).
I has a lovely stay at Concha y Toro 33. The stay, for me, was only a one night/one day quick stop over in Santiago so I had limited time. The staff was wonderful and very helpful - they provided great recommendations for activities and sightseeing. When the lock on my door malfunctioned and I got locked out of my room they immediately rectified the problem! Would definitely stay again!
The hotel is in a very attractive looking old neighborhood. The room was clean and adequate. The breakfast was good with a fair number of offerings. They had a tea hour and a wine hour which were quite nice and gave me a chance to converse with other travelers. There is no elevator. I liked this hotel for its charm. There was a noisy party going on down the street so the rooms on the front of the building were not as quiet as one might like.
I stayed for ten (10) days! I was really amazed and impressed with Concha Y Toro. The staff (all the staff) were wonderful and extremely helpful. Tanya, Daniel and Andrea couldn't be nicer and more helpful. They saw to my every need and helped me out above the call of duty. They booked reservations for tours and helped me with local (lots of really good places to eat!) dinner...
The complimentary breakfast and wine & cheese bar in the evening are above and beyond anything you'll see at a CHAIN HOTEL.
DO NOT LET THE NEIGHBORHOOD SCARE YOU! It's more like a Boston college local community. Lot's of young people. I was nervous at first but quickly became quite secure walking around alone day and night.
NOTE: Make sure you have WiFi at ALL times! I got caught twice without it and had to call an Urber. I found a local place that was kind enough to let me dial-in to their WiFi, but don't go out without it! BAD IDEA!
I would stay at Concha Y Toro again!
