Check in was wonderful. It’s not much to look at but price was right and easy walk to the beach. Clean and had fridge and micro and desk area.

Property itself was okay, our hairdryer was broken and the bathroom was not very private. The slider door didn’t close all the way. The elevator was not near our top floor room. Our shower in the Accessible room got water all over the bathroom floor!

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Kids love the pool and spa. Can’t beat the location- walkable to downtown, the pier and the boardwalk!!

The rooms were spacious which was great. Location also great. But cleanliness not good. The first room we were put in had a broken fridge with mildew in it. The staff was very quick to respond and moved us to another room right away. The other room smelled of urine and sewer. But the price was reasonable. We made it work.

The lodge in a safe residential area from all appearances. We arrived just after 9:00 pm and was checked in quickly. It was a very cold and windy night. The host at the front desk went the extra mile and looked on her security camera to see if there were any open parking spaces in the back of the property where our room was so we be close to ur assigned room. She did, and that saved us the hassle of a long walk in bad weather to our room. We were tired after a long drive, and ended the night feeling grateful for her great customer service! It's the little things that count!

This is an old property and you feel it the moment you walk in. Old carpet, bathroom smelled like smoke which was really irritating. My feeling was, the property was bulit in the 70's or 80's and nothing has really been done to update it since. You couldn't even go into the lobby to check in. Had to check in via "night window". So we were not thrilled with this place but if you are on a tight budget and just need a decent place it's ok. I would not have wanted to stay long here.

The property had an ice machine, but did not have filtered water for the guest. Providing filtered water would be a good add on.

Nice big room, great for our dog with pet area, big bathroom with 2-person shower and enough room for our surf boards that we didn't want to leave in the parking lot overnight. Nice mini-fridge with Keurig coffee maker. Comfy bed/sheets, but pillows were a bit flat and hard (I'm a side sleeper). Otherwise, great location and great price

This is my go-to place to stay and have family stay when visiting Santa Cruz. It's safe, clean and reasonably priced, but still walking distance to the wharf and boardwalk and downtown.

I was disappointed. The people I checked in and out with were great! The room itself not so much. The worst of the worst was that the bathroom had one light and when you used it an extremely loud fan went on. To avoid it I took a shower by flashlight. Also there were scant outlets for electronics.

Wir haben das Hotel gewählt, weil es direkt am Stand liegt und waren positiv überrascht. Nachts konnte man super ruhig schlafen. Leider hatte bei uns im Zimmer die Dusche nicht funktioniert. Das Frühstück könnte eine bessere, gesündere Auswahl anbieten.
