"We loved our stay at Sabah hotel as a
family
of two adults and one child (9yrs old). We booked it for the pool mainly as we knew Sandakan town didn't have much to offer compared to other places on our trip. My daughter loved the pool especially the slides and they provide free pool towels which was great too. The rooms were cleaned daily and were very spacious and we had a pool view. The decor is a little dated and rooms a bit musty but the rooms had air con which was such a relief to get back...

"The hotel is in a great location, right on the waterfront and there is no shortage of eating places nearby. Staff are welcoming and helpful. The extractor fan from the hotel kitchen made the rooms at the front somewhat noisy in the morning and evening. Breakfast was very good."

"This is a great place to stay if youre trip is about wildlife. The resort is very well done and the lodges well equipped and comfortable. The bar and restaurant are good, delicious food and friendly helpful staff and the plunge pool is a great way to spend an hour or so. Location is great, only a short walk to the Orangutan rehabilitation centre and Sun bear sanctuary. There's nothing much else around but this suited us. Great value for the standard of accommodation and facilities "
