"Nice location and off the beaten path. An easy 15 minute drive to most things we wanted to see; zoo, central Nagano, Nagano station. Easy parking, nice relaxing hot bath on balcony. It was an older Ryoken but maintained and Friendly staff. "

"Not worth it. Way over priced! We stayed one night. Staff are very nice. But the place is of a by gone era. It’s old but not in a charming way. Showers in the onsen are cold and you have to wait for many minutes in order for hot water to come out. The rooms and elevators are old. the outdoor hotspring is on the top floor with no facilities (you have to go downstairs first and shower) and no real view to speak of. The location is on the main drag which is nice. But it should be 1/2 the...

A short walk to Zenko-ji temple, the Zenko-ji Nakamise shopping street, and Nishinomon-Yoshinoya Sake Brewery if you want to sample some sake or amazake. Compact room but all the amenities needed to make your stay comfortable. If I'm back in Nagano, I will stay there again."
