The location is outstanding, just a few steps from Nagano Station. The reception staff member was efficient and professional. The hotel is old, faded, and tired, suffering from years of deferred maintenance. However, given its location, it is value for money.

The previous reviews I read were better than what I saw when I got there. The property seemed scary with old fashion key and large fob, room was darker than photos, breakfast was lukewarm, on paper plates and cups. Friendly staff, but I was glad it was only one night.

It doesn’t worth with money . Go Toyoko hotel .

The room is very dark. No night in the entrance hallway. If you check in at night time , bring your torch with you for lamination. There is only 1 light in the bathroom and 2 ceiling lights in the room. They still use key to open and lock door. Breakfast is a joke. Only coffee , ice waterand orange juice. 2 kinds of pastries. Miso soup. Curry and rice. That’s all.
