We all really enjoyed our stay at sunset being right on the beach for the sunset was a huge highlight also has the comforts of modern shared dorm rooms with air conditioning and hot showers!

Enjoyed my stay at Sunset Surf Villas. It had a nice chill vibe, friendly staff and guests. It’s close to a small shopping center and fruit and vegetable markets. Having in room A/C and a nice pool was a plus. Nice to stay beach front as seeing and hearing the ocean waves was a calming retreat.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Sunset Surf Villa. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. I could surf a lot! The place is great to rest and to socialise at the same time. A big plus is the AC in the room!!! I would really recommend staying here!

The pool and beach access is the star of the hostel such a stunning location and short drive into town or walking distance to shopping complex. The staff were friendly and held events every night so pretty social. For the price however I expected better beds, I could feel all the springs in my mattress and the bunk was so wobbly every time you moved. Bathrooms are nice and modern and a basic kitchen but the fridge desperately needs cleaning out, no dates on anyone’s food so no idea how long stuff’s been in there. Overall loved my stay here and watching the sunset from the beach every night just not sure it’s all worth the high prices!

Average hostel with below average voulenteer staff. There was roughly 6 of them and all equally lazy. Never been to a place where toilet paper was the only cleaning solution and paper towels or hand towels are non existent. This was very annoying. In addition to the staff rarely refreshing the bathrooms or stocking up on items as there was no hand soap for 2 days.. gross. Manager needs to come and put his girls in line.

I had an absolute great stay here! It was only one night, but I thoroughly enjoyed everything. The staff were super friendly and helped with whatever I needed. The location is unbeatable, right on the water with access to surfboards, bikes, a pool, whatever you need. If I could I would most definitely stay longer. Can’t recommend enough!!

Perfect location if you are looking to explore the different waves in the area as it’s in the middle of all the best breaks . Super clean and organized facilities. The Volunteers are a vibe if you are looking to connect with new people or if you are solo and want a surf buddy. You can also not be bothered at all and have total peace and quiet if that’s what you and there for . Could have stayed indefinitely.

Entweder ich habe immer einen schlechten Zeitpunkt erwischt aber die Bäder waren immer dreckig und haben gestunken.. auch die Betten waren sehr unbequem und mein Vorhang viel ständig runter, weil schon kaputt. Ich hatte in meinem Bett Ohrstöpsel vom Vorgänger.. Ich hoffe die Bettwäsche wurde wenigstens gewechselt. Kuchen war immer top sauber und Personal sehr freundlich.
