Great place to stay in Libertador!

We spent one night at Posada del Sol. All the area was a bit gloomy, the hotel is great. The staff was professional, the room was clean, and the hotel has a pool (the water was cold at the time we were there) and a spa. The breakfast deserves a special mention: it was excellent. We will definitely come back if we have the opportunity.

We really enjoyed it there. The service is great and the staff provided us with excellent information to visit the nearby forest. Rooms are quite big for this price and breakfast was great too.

Gem in north

Nice hotel with a great pool. It felt a little bit german and there were only a few other guest. The room were really spacious and big. Staff was helpful, but didnt speak english. Good breakfast for argentenian standards. Perfectly clean room, great air condition. The hotel is located in a normal residential area just 4 blocks from the centro, but bear in mind this is northern Argentina - the roads are not paved, the street lights few, houses simple and straydogs slept on the road. From an European point of view this would have been a really shady area, but we felt completely safe though and took a walk in the night to have one of our best dinners in Argentina at La Yupa in centro of the town. They served great, tasty steaks and had a wonderful salad buffet. The city is completely free of backpackers and offers little else to see than the Plaza. We spend the following day at the National park - hard to find but a wonderful experience.
