You get what you pay for. This is an affordable motel. At least we were in the bldg away from office, overlooking the pool. When we checked in there were men smoking and drinking outside on the landing. The room was updated as shown in photos. The sheets smelled of bleach, which was a positive. There were 2 things - hair in "clean" shower and appliance (a/c? Water heater?) that made an insanely loud noise when it turned on/off.

Wow-what a surprise. Looking for a low-cost option or SLO-this is the place. W/O all the skanky people at M6. Clean and re modeled. Denny's next door. Great place to stay.

This is a great motel on the edge of town. Rooms are clean and the reception staff are extremely helpful too.
