Staff was nice, room was clean along with the grounds. Food was also good at the restaurant. The only thing that was a bummer was that you had to make a reservation to use the jacuzzi and there’s only one.

Decor is a little dated but room size is great. We've stayed here 3 out of 5 trips down to the SLO area, visiting our daughter at CP. Our first choice to stay in terms of price, room size. We would definitely stay here again.

Room was ok.you should book directly through sea pines directly. Expidea price is significantly higher. The room with all the fees was way over the advertised price. I will not be booking this hotel in the future or using Expedia. Extremely confusing and disappointing. Especially when front desk clerk tells me the room is lot cheaper than what i payed on Expedia. The hotel is self was quiet and clean. The usual negatives. Location is good . Our room faced a bricked wall. It did have some landscaping. The staff seemed nice. Like I said book with the property itself. Over all Not that bad, but I personally wouldn’t stay at sea pines again.

This was our 2nd stay at the Sea Pines and it was just as amazing as our first. With both stays we were impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of ALL of the staff from the front desk to everyone in the restaurant as well as the golf pro shop. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and well furnished and the lighting is great in the rooms. We also really liked that we made reservations for the hot tub so that it wasn’t over crowded (it was just us) and we didn’t have to engage in awkward conversation with strangers :) We will most definitely stay at the Sea Pines again, and the food was delicious at the restaurant.

Lovely property! Enjoyed the hot tub situation (reserved) because it was awfully nice to have it to ourselves. Only complaint was the cleanliness of the room. It’s obvious nobody has dusted the back of the tv in awhile.

Accommodating staff. The room that was assigned to me was upstairs. At check in staff noticed I walked with a cane and found me a nice room on the ground floor. Having the spa all to ourselves for our assigned time was wonderful, peaceful and relaxing. Perfect getaway from the valley heat. Thank you.

Plan to go elsewhere.

Pros: The grounds are beautiful. It's convenient if you like to golf. Great location for exploring. There's lots of elbow room in the room and it's nice with a patio on the greens. If you are there during the live music sessions it's lots of fun. During the music concerts there's outdoor cooking and yummy food available. Cons: Something in closet smelled strongly like pee. Mold on shower ceiling and back of bathroom door. Fixtures and surfaces in need of replacing. TV did not work. We were there last year and that TV needed the front desk lady to enter our room for an hour to fix it. Restaurant is very loud and overwhelming. Waitress sprayed cleaning fluid near us and my husband was chocking. A very drunk obnoxious guy was in the bar/restaurant. The fish and chips were greasy and the clam chowder was not good.

It's a beautiful location. Quiet and off the beaten path a bit. The rooms and facilities are showing their age. There'sa jacuzzi but you have to reserve it in advance. Apparently to manage the crowds. Which is ok I guess if you know to make a reservation. But we checked in early evening and by then it was completely booked up. We left the next morning.
