The check in was good , the sheets were clean, and there was hot water, but the carpets need cleaning and the microwave wasn't working. Otherwise, it was fine, no noise, and you can relax well.

I stayed in one of their cheaper rooms. It was small and basic but totally works! HD tv worked and had a lot of channels. Bathroom was very clean. Bed was comfortable.

Beautiful architecture, great locale for hiking SP (starting point), hiked all three peaks from hotel. Nice stroll down to farmers market, a lot of variety nearby.

Room was simi clean had defered maintenance on a few things ac/heater knobs missing could not adjust the room temperature. Closet doors broken, toilet was loses from the floor and the shower needs to be cleaned better. But the place was quiet that might be due to no front desk staff to be found anywhere after check in.

Great downtown location for walking to restaurants and shops. Bed was comfortable and clean. Unfortunately, carpets old and stained. In-room refrigerator was smelly, probably because it didn't work. Overall, room condition was just old and tired.

Stayed for 1 night for graduation at SLO. Other than the price gouging for the event weekend, we found the room very nice, and the check-in staff friendly. Pillows are worthless though, and there is a lot of loud door slamming at all hours. Sheets and bathroom were acceptable, and the refrigerator worked fine.
