We had a good brief stay at the Kempinski, particularly the beautiful grounds and stunning setting. We were also very grateful for the kind room upgrade, which was a lovely touch, although a recommendation would be to offer differing types of pillows as my husband felt they were to soft.. The gym was excellent and the spa looked gorgeous, definitely something we would use if we returned. There were a few areas, however, where the experience fell short. The food by the pool and at breakfast wasn’t quite to the standard expected, including an omelette that was hardly cooked. We also requested an 8pm turndown but had to chase housekeeping when it hadn’t been done. Finally, we felt a little overlooked by the pool waitress when fruit kebabs were brought around and we weren’t offered any, which left us feeling less valued as guests. Overall, though, we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning if we were to visit Gozo again.

Young person’s around on work exerience were supernice and helpful. More mature staff did not show proactive approach on simple questions. We we not clearly understand the onsite restuarant options and booking for everything was instisted, but not finally needed. Good food was experienced, but better structure to guests recommended. Seating allocation was also problemetic even when booking a place.. we survived, but at such a hotel should be better.

Excellent place to stay on Gozo! We rented a car and could experience the whole island with an easy drive from this location. The staff and facilities were top notch, as good or better than the pictures online. The room type that we booked was not available so the manager upgraded us to a better suite. We tried several of the onsite restaurants and each was unique and wonderful. The spa was world class, as were all of the indoor and outdoor pools. The staff members went above and beyond to make us feel special in every interaction. We look forward to returning!

Everything was amazing! My only complaint was the beautiful gardens were filled with bees and huge hornets that were all around the pools and often sinking in the pools to be accidentally stepped on, which is an issue when traveling with children.

Amazing hotel in a beautiful place. Pool is to die for. The service around the pool is awful. Very nice young people but not trained and I felt very sorry for them. Lots of complaints. It’s a shame everything else is great especially the free breakfast ;)

Restaurants cater for most tastes, menus are comprehensive and the decor is what you expect in such a hotel. Selection of different breakfast dishes suited al palates. Only used the main pool where the staff were on the ball as soon as the pool opened. No waiting for ages to order a drink or snack. The location of the hotel is about ten minutes by bus from Victoria but the walk from the hotel to the bus stop can be tiring (for older guests) when it's hot. I used Bolt taxis to get arround. Bolt are like Uber so you need to download their APP.

Die Hotelanlage ist insgesamt sehr schön und einladend gestaltet, mit toller Bepflanzung und drei attraktiven Pools. Unser Zimmer war modern renoviert und sehr angenehm – wir haben uns als Familie grundsätzlich wohlgefühlt. Auch das Frühstück war grosszügig und qualitativ gut. Trotzdem zeigt sich in mehreren Bereichen deutlicher Verbesserungsbedarf. Teile des Hotels wirken etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnten einen spürbaren „Polish“ vertragen. Besonders der Tennisplatz war in einem sehr ungepflegten Zustand (viel Vogeldreck, stark abgenutzt). Auch der Indoorpool wirkte veraltet und wenig einladend. Irritierend waren zudem Details wie verfaulte Blumen auf den Frühstückstischen sowie dunkle, teils schmutzige Treppenhäuser. Der Service war nicht durchgehend stimmig: Teilweise wurden wir beim Betreten nicht begrüsst, und es öffnet einem niemand die Tür – für diese Kategorie ungewöhnlich. Beim Lunch am Pool kam es zudem zu sehr langen Wartezeiten. Fazit: Eine schöne Anlage mit Potenzial und gelungenen Zimmern, aber mit Schwächen bei Pflege, Details und Service. Mit mehr Konsequenz im Gesamtbild könnte das Hotel deutlich gewinnen.

Nous connaissions déjà cet hôtel avant sa rénovation, et il faut reconnaître que le travail effectué est réussi : chambres modernes, cadre agréable, et spa toujours aussi appréciable. Sur le papier, tout était réuni pour passer un bon séjour. Malheureusement, l’expérience a été tout autre. Dès notre arrivée, la climatisation était bloquée en mode chauffage alors qu’il faisait déjà chaud. Impossible de la régler. Après appel à la réception, aucune solution concrète, si ce n’est un ventilateur ancien et extrêmement bruyant, totalement inadapté à ce type d’établissement. Mais le plus surprenant reste le matin. Réveillés par des cris venant de la chambre voisine, nous avons d’abord pensé à des clients irrespectueux. Avant de découvrir qu’il s’agissait en réalité… d’un tournage organisé juste à côté. Un tournage, sans aucune information préalable, à côté de clients ? Franchement, est-ce normal ? Oui, des excuses nous ont été présentées, mais elles n’effacent ni le manque d’anticipation ni l’impact sur notre séjour. Résultat : nuit perturbée, réveil brutal, activités annulées (petit-déjeuner, spa, massages) et départ anticipé. Très décevant. Nous ne reviendrons pas.
