The hotel garden and outdoor area was beautiful!! I didn’t see any staff while we were staying there and rooms don’t get cleaned during the day but besides that the location was perfect and the breakfast station was amazing. The hammocks near the pool felt like a sanctuary. Could relax out there all day.

Our room was spotless and the AC kept things perfectly comfortable throughout our stay. The morning snack bar was a lovely touch, and the staff were incredibly helpful the whole time. Only small suggestion: maybe keep some heavy-duty bug spray on hand — we had an unexpected (and admittedly not the host’s fault!) spider encounter in the shower. Otherwise, a great stay and we’d happily come back!

We booked this guesthouse a day before we travelled and hadn't done any research on where we were staying so we were so pleasantly surprised at how lovely this place was. It's a few container rooms so not too crowded at all. The room was small but relaxing and we slept really well here. There's no TV but I had my laptop with me because I knew I wanted to watch the football world cup games. The kitchen, grab and go breakfast room, was very convenient. The coffee machine is super convenient. The grounds were beautiful, gorgeous trees and greenery all around. We enjoyed evenings reading in the hammocks and in the pool. A great place to come back to and relax at the end of an adventurous day 😊. It had good parking and communication for arrival was really clear. Follow the route on Google maps to get there, don't use the address on Expedia.

The property was beautiful, we saw iguanas, lizards, coquís, and a flock of puerto rican parrots fly overhead. The horticulture was well maintained and the flower garden was beautiful. Check in and out was super easy and the host was very communicative. The room was super cute, the AC was a lifesaver, and the continental breakfast was perfect to save a little money on eating out throughout the trip. We loved our second floor balcony in Villa #8. Very calm, clean, and peaceful stay. Also great location between the beaches and El Yunque Forest. Luquillo is such a charming town! We would definitely stay here again.

La propiedad es hermosa. Un rinconcito de campo cerca de la playa y toda la actividad. Aunque no tiene fronteras desk, siempre se ve personal presente arreglando los alrededores y cualquier situación con la propiedad te atienden y resuelven muy bien por teléfono. En mi caso, lo único que no me encantó fue la cama. La encontré un poco dura y hubiera deseado una frisa más gruesa. Lo demás fue excelente. Muy recomendado y volvería a repetir.

Mata e platano was beautiful, close to everything! The property was clean thoroughly everyday, i always saw the staff cleaning the pool, around the patio, etc. continental breakfast was good, the room is much smaller than what it looks likes on pictures, but for 2 people it’s perfect! I wished we had more like trash bags for the bathroom trashcan so one can replace it if it’s full and no trashcan for other trash inside the room so we had to go outside to the thrash bin to throw away small/medium trash, but honestly i loved the stay and i think in the future I would definitely stay again!

Great property we loved our stay ! Room #2 we had a water issue when taking a shower not sure if it’s the same for each room the lip on the shower is not tall enough water goes over into the room. Breakfast room was great but a great addition would be hard boiled eggs and yogurt.

The pool and common areas are well cared for, and the vegetation is lush and beautiful. The coffee /cocoa machine was a hit, and it was great that the breakfast room is open all day. Don’t count on a wide variety of food to be put out, however.

The property is peaceful and beautiful. They have 2 hammocks in the front, complimentary breakfast which can actually be accessed any time. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. It truly is a peaceful environment surrounded by the rainforest! We got room 5 upstairs which didn’t necessarily have a private patio but it does have a front patio that’s tucked away from the other rental units. The pictures are accurate, the rooms are snug. The a/c works very well! Water pressure was pretty good. Or room had 2 large windows that opened up and it was so relaxing!! I wish I had a full body mirror though. It was easy to reach the staff for any concerns I had. I think next time, I will rent the guest house suite for more space. Overall, happy with my experience !
