Love our short stay here with my dog Mochi. The staff are friendly and accommodating .The place is also peaceful , away from the crowd, though the restaurants are further. The food is also good. Can’t wait to bring my partner here soon.

Second time to stay. We love that the hotel is pet friendly. Need a little bit improvement with the internet provider. Some rooms have internet tv while some just have a basic cable that only have less than 5 channels. But great facility and staff. Will be back again.

What I like is that it's location is scenic beachfront. The building and facilities like the swimming pool is relative new. But the hotel is poorly managed. The staff lacks training seemed incompetent at times. They don't fully grasp the nature of the hotel business.

The room (101) is spacious, we were a group of 7pax, two queen beds and two double-size beds, lots of space for luggages. However, bringing food and snacks in the hotel have corkage fee, I have been to a lot of hotel resorts local and international but this is the first time I heard such hotel policy. The reason for my three-stars rating.

Front desk personnels should atleast treat all guests fair and same. Be nice to every guest. Guest without using branded stuffs should also be treated the same way with guests using branded stuffs. Housekeeping staffs are friendly and accomodating.

On site pool, beach and direct access to ocean. Ocean waves can be strong here but long beach to run or walk if desired (local vendors on beach). Road to site can be narrow and passes through residential back yards. On site parking appears limited as compared to room amounts for levels of complex. Good elevator on site. Decent food onsite local and western. Check in can be a task if a busy time. Room is basic and bathroom is local, very low water pressure due to restrictive shower head but warm. Concrete support next to bed edge (head strike issue) and toilet placed very close to door (typical). Pet friendly and local dogs on site.

Long weekend getaway

The hotel and room is clean and well maintained . We had a comfortable stay. It's rate is budget friendly. It's right in front of the beach which is the killer. At the same time they have a pool that you can use when the waves are crazy. The area is less crowded and peaceful. The San Juan gimmick area is just a 10min drive. At first I was kind of turned off when the guy on the check in counter had to narrate the possible penalties and additional fees that you may encounter, like extra fee for this extra this and that. But I would still recommend this and would love to come back, because they charge lower and you'll get value for money

Front beach property, just seps away from the beach. My only comment and concern was that at 3:00 in the morning someone opened my niece’s room and someone entered in their room. I’m not sure if that’s a mistake at the front where they issued a key to a room which was already occupied. This is a safety and needs to address because you don’t know if that person who entered my neice’s room has a bad intention. Otherwise the property is good, it won’t have been nice if they offer free breakfast.

7.2 “Good view with easy access to beach but slightly far from restaurants” Hotel is easily seen and accessible from the main road. Its just that if you don’t have car, you have to ride tricycle going to Urbiztondo beach where commercial stores (restaurants, bar, etc.) are located and also the surfing point. It is 10-15 mins away from the hotel. Preferably book this online than on-site because it is way cheaper. Hotel is okay, a little old & typical look but good enough for couples or families who wants to have a quiet place rather than the busy area of San Juan. It also has a pool with easy access to beach area. It is not crowded. Staffs are accommodating when we checked in and also when we extended our stay. Down side we found are shower water pressure is low, the 2nd room where we were transferred (due to extended stay) – aircon is not working enough to cool the whole room, no nearby restaurants or convenience store. Good side of this hotel is it has a great view in the morning and afternoon if you chose beach side rooms and at upper floors.

We arrived and no room was ready, meaning no toiletries, towels etc, we had to ask for them even though we called day before to let them know of our ETA, bathroom was tiny( not like the pic) and shower had 3 water spurts working, couldn’t properly shower, sliding door to balcony was broken, couldn’t close properly or lock so our first half hour of being there we had to watch the maintenance man fix it, great stat to our stay(NOT). Second day we had ants around the bed so they sprayed, ants came back next day, asked for more towels and linen. Breakfast, lunch and dinner we had to eat outside as the inside dining was being used for a conference and weren’t allowed to dine in, we also had to keep asking them to send us a waiter so we could order. The only good points about the resort is the good location, the food was nice, and the swimming pool which we used everyday bcoz the beach was closed for swimming. I wouldn’t go back to be honest.

We recently stayed at the Em Royalle, and I must say I was extremely disappointed with the overall experience. The hotel's attention to detail was shockingly poor, making my stay quite unpleasant. Firstly, upon check-in, I noticed that the bed set was lacking a top sheet. Upon request, the staff insisted that that's how they make the bed. It was clear that the staff had not paid attention to detail. Secondly, we were lacking basic toiletries such as towels, hand towels, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and toothbrushes. We asked for housekeeping services but they replaced the bath rug with a worn out rug, very poor. Furthermore, the service was lackluster. The front desk staff seemed disinterested and unprofessional, failing to address my concerns promptly. Our room key kept on resetting at 12 noon and we have to request access from thr front desk. It was evident that there was a lack of proper training and supervision. I was extremely satisfied with the kitchen services and the food was great. Location is pristine since the hotel is by the beach. Overall, my experience at Em Royalle Hotel 2/5. Recommendations: • Improve cleanliness standards: Ensure that rooms are thoroughly cleaned and maintained to a high standard. • Upgrade amenities: Provide guests with quality towels, toiletries, and other amenities to enhance their comfort. • Enhance staff training: Train the staff to be more attentive, courteous, and professional in their interactions.
