Spent one night after a late arrival. Convenient to my car rental. 3 of us in the room. Only 2 towels, no hand towels. WiFi reception throughout was very poor, if any. Better properties nearby.

I like how close to restaurants and shopping. I disliked the staff who cooked a poor breakfast I could not finish as the toast was Rock hard and rice and beans not cooked. I was charged 20US dollars to being a date back for a drink by the pool. Very poor customer service and extremely rude staff

BE WARNED! The place seems to be under constction still. They were nice enough to put 2 older ladies right between 2 groups of young men thay were contantly partying. So sleep was limited.😡 They did not provide coffee for the room, although there is a coffee maker. The room was clean. There are no english channels on the television. I would not recomend

This hotel's location is convienent and it was clean. But I was very disappointed to discover, upon check-in, that the breakfast that is advertised on line as included actually wa NOT included (or even available for purchase) and that the restaurant listed as being on site, was closed. Luckily there are other dining options availble within walking distace. But I will say I was disappointed, because I did not exactly get what I thought I was getting when I made the booking. The pool is nice. We couldn't turn the AC off, but I guess that's better than not being able to turn it on.

Nice little hotel tucked away in a neighborhood

I'm a native English speaker, but some of the hotel staff spoke limited English. I tried to learn as much as I could before my trip, and it was really helpful! I was able to communicate a bit with the staff. Everyone was friendly and took good care of my wife and me. The property was well maintained, and the pool was refreshing, especially considering how hot it was; it was not heated. The breakfast and coffee in the mornings were great, and the hotel was centrally located near stores and restaurants. We also used DiDi to have food delivered, and we had no issues with that service. My only concern was being charged an extra $20 per day. When I booked the hotel, I indicated that there was one traveler, not two, but I didn't think that would be a problem. However, the staff informed me it would cost extra when they saw me with my wife. There was no mention of this additional charge on the Hotels.com site, so I'm not sure if this is a standard practice in Costa Rica or varies by hotel.

I made the reservations for two rooms. When I arrive at the property, the receptionist said there was only a reservation for one room with one bed. Fortunately, the receptionist was extremely helpful. I showed her the app and she called her manager and they approved the room for me. She did mention that it was only possible because they had rooms available. She mentioned that if the hotel had been booked, they wouldn’t be able to accommodate the second room. I am not sure how this happened but the girl says that when they get a reservation with two rooms on it, they come in together on the same transaction or email. I’m afraid this thing can happen in the future and we will be left without accommodations. I never really got a proper response from Expedia because we came in late to the room and we were really tired and the receptionist noticed how tired we were, and was very compassionate. If it wasn’t for the kindness at the hotel personnel showed, we would’ve been left without accommodations which would’ve been a horrible thing. I hope that in the future this doesn’t happen again I’ve used Expedia a lot in our travels, and I’ve always had good success, but if it repeats itself again, I may have to use a different third-party app. If there’s anybody that can please give me a call or respond to this message. I would appreciate it. I would prefer if it’s a management personnel. Thank you.

The property is well kept up. The rooms are basic, showing their age but clean. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was better than expected - coffee or juice, small fruit plate, then a larger plate with plantains, peas and rice, scrambled eggs, and what tasted like a hot dog. Everything was fine for the price and proximity to the airport
