I really loved the garden, that was the best feature of the hotel. There are turtles and koi and it’s really beautiful and peaceful. There was a little trouble with the sink/shower/toilet but overall I really loved staying here. The staff were very friendly and I felt at home.

Amazing tucked away location. The pictures and description offer no justice to the serenity and beauty of this location. Perfect for a solo traveler or couple. Even with the place at full occupancy, you felt as if you were in your own private oasis.

Great staff and service. Shared kitchen and living room that had plenty of space to relax, work on laptop or whatever. Nice little garden to chill with coffee. Great location and quiet. Needs a new coffee maker in the kitchen.

I had to cancel my trip very last minute due to plans falling through and the staff was extremely kind and understanding about it. They were very easy to get in touch with on WhatsApp. Although I wasn’t able to actually stay here, the communication and customer service was great!

For me, Casa Jardin del Mango was perfect for arriving in and leaving from Costa Rica. The garden is a little oasis and helps settling in. The place has a very uncomplicated feeling to it, the staff is friendly, and it is close to the Sabana park, which is an oasis in San Jose, too. There can little eateries and a gym be found in the vicinity of Casa Jardin del Mango and the area is quite safe. I had a room towards the garden, which was nice, and I appreciated the comfortable bed and the kitchenette as well access to the communal kitchen.
