The staff is very friendly and attentive. I felt very comfortable and safe at this hotel. It was very clean, breakfast is included and it was nice. The lobby has a very nice view looking out cucuta city. There is a mall at walking distance (3 blocks away).

Friends go to Cucuta

I spent a week with friends. We had 4 rooms. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Ivan was very attentive at breakfast and Gabriela at the front seat helped with all of our needs. Great food options close by.

Good, but frustrated

The Hampton Inn in Cúcuta is good. The service provided by the staff is also good. The breakfast was very good. But, we had a very unpleasant problem in the bathroom. The shower door wouldn't close, that is, there was no lock on the door, and the first day my husband went to take a shower, the entire bathroom flooded. Since it was night, the next morning I asked the receptionist to fix the door. But unfortunately they didn't do anything. I had to ask the maid every day to give me extra bath mats to prevent everything from getting wet or flooded. I was very frustrated, because in my country, USA, I always stay at this hotel chain and have never had any problems. I hope that now, with this review, they can take action.

Overall a great stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great. Room was very nice although a little small. Very quiet, comfortable bed and a hot shower. Now for the bad, all minor. No washcloth for the shower, only 1 free bottle of water when booked for 2 people. The shower door missing the seals causing minor water problems in the bathroom. The air conditioning was way too cold and apparently the thermostat in my room didnt work correctly. The store items are OUTRAGEOUSLY OVER PRICED! No pool but that didn’t bother me as I knew that before booking. The hotel is very close to Venture Plaza and lots of food options. Security is very good and friendly. We used to live in the Cabos neighborhood so we knew exactly where this hotel was located and that is why we picked it. With a few minor fixes this is a 5 star all day. Definitely a great choice for families and foreigners visiting Cucuta. Also there was always at least 2 taxis in front during the day or very close by. On a side note my room had a fantastic view
