We usually don’t expect much, but our room was quite filthy, had plenty of bugs crawling around, and there wasn’t a fridge or microwave in the room, even though the photos showed otherwise. Parking also costs 10 dollars per day, and the lot is open, so I don’t really get what you’re paying for. Staff were friendly and location is great, considering price.

Hotel is in a great location!!! You will be charged $10/day for parking. No fridge or microwave. Mattress was old and "nested" so you roll to that spot. If you are ok with roughing it a bit to save some money and be in a great location this hotel is alright.

The room was a good size with a small fridge. However, the floors and bathroom were dirty. Like they hadn’t been mopped in days! At check-in, the clerk tried to scam us by charging for parking and saying it had to be paid cash only. We refused so he said he would waive the parking fee this time. The location is perfect. Lots of food options nearby.

The room had a slight unpleasant smell when I walked in. The beds were very comfortable. There was no refrigerator and no microwave. I'd recommend the Days Inn down the street for an orderless room with refrigerator and microwave and coffee maker all for about the same price.

This place is an overpriced dump. The location is fantastic; but, the room leaves a lot to be desired. No coffee maker in the room. No plastic cups in the bathroom. The front desk was unable to provide me with info on where I could walk my dog. The place is clean, but run down looking.

This place is really nice. Really honest and reasonable rates. I left my charger in the room and I called them and asked them if they could look. They called me back within a few hours and told me that they found the charger which I found to be very considerate of them. Some places wouldn't do that but this place didn't. I would say they're amazing. Thank you for a wonderful night and true honesty in San Francisco

We were pleasantly surprised in a good way. The property was in acceptable condition and staff friendly. It was clean and smelled good. We did find one roach and killed it and hadn't found any more after. Our television didn't work twice and the staff fixed the problem. The second time it didn't work was 4a and the staff woke for us and addressed the issue. That was impressive.

Got what I expected and needed

It did it's job as a cheap place to stay with parking available. Seemed like half of the rooms were being used by travelers and the other half for people staying long term and in difficult circumstances. As a single female traveler, I was very aware of the need to double lock the door, keep the curtains drawn and lie to the creepy man who asked if I was staying alone and for how long. Not very clean overall but the bed was good. Saw two cockroaches in the bathroom on the last day. It was what I needed for an extremely cheap stay but I have decided, personally it's time to spend a little more on future hotels (even if you don't stay in the room during vacay).

Would not recommend, even though the staff is nice

There was mold in multiple places on the bathroom ceiling. It smelled extremely strongly of pinesol and lightly of mold. The sheets and towels looked as though they had been washed but not bleached as they were clean but had light stains. The bed had a person-shaped dent in it, so I think it was quite old. The heat did not work very well. The one shining point was that the person who checked me in was very polite and thoughtful. However, I would not recommend staying here unless you have to.

Not worth it

The front-desk man was nice, very friendly, and helpful. However, I didn't feel safe here. Not clean, room was damaged in various places. Spotted what looked like a baby cockroach around the sink. There wasn't even a toilet paper holder, burn mark on the bed sheets, duct tape on bathroom door. Etc, you can just look at the photos.

This Motel 6 is located on a very busy street. Yet it was surprisingly quiet. Location of this Motel 6 is superb because of the area it is located in has loads of restaurants, shopping, cafes and more! Parking lot was full so I had to park on the street one block away but I was ok with that. Check in and out was very convenient. Room was good, not great but good. Cleanliness of the bathroom and room could have been better. The room definitely needs some “simple modernizing.” Overall I would recommend this Motel 6 for anyone that needs a basic in and out booking. Thank you Motel 6 and Expedia! P.S. I’m planning on utilizing Expedia to book a room at this Motel 6 tonight. :)

First things first property claims free parking on the website but when it came to check in I got charged per day. Also I had to leave a deposit fee which wasn’t an issue but they never gave it back. So I had to file a claim on my credit card and it took 2 months for it to resolve. Tenants were there drinking and smoking which I don’t care about but they were loud when it was 3 4 in the morning and no one went to quiet them. The only good thing about this property is that it is in the marina district and the ocean is 5 min away walking distance. The fisherman’s wharf is close by as well. The area is nice and safe in the night but the property is definitely not it
