"Great location. Property is older but clean. Some maintenance needed, for example, broken ice machine. Parking is way too expensive for registered guests."

"I don’t really write reviews but I was disappointed in my experience. I tried to check in early and they mentioned that room was not ready yet but is almost. No problem I get it. They took down my phone number and email address to reach out when room was ready. They offered us some passes to the pool area for free since we were staying there so me and the wifey go up there have some drinks, enjoy the vibe, really nice view and atmosphere. By this time it is almost 4pm and tried to check in again and they mentioned it still not ready but will call us. At this point we had reservations for dinner so we walked to our destination for dinner and wondered why the room would not be ready since we did pre-check in at 1pm. By the time we finished dinner we realized we still did not get a call or email that our room was ready. We walked back and by that time it was past 7pm when we asked if the room was ready. The response I got was not great. They mentioned that our room has been ready and had reached out to me. When I verified what number they were calling, that was not my phone number and not sure who it was. The receptionist was not bothered that I called them out on that and was just business as usual. Here is your room keys. I was really looking forward to enjoy the beautiful rooms in your hotel and rent a guitar and record player but it was late already and would not enjoy it. I wish I could have enjoyed this experience as I love hard rock brand but had a bad experience."

Best Western Inn & Suites San Diego – Zoo/SeaWorld Area

"The property is in a great location, close to the beach, SeaWorld, food and I’m sure other things. Rooms were spacious and clean. The room was a bit warn as the sliding door latch was broken, bathroom door handle was finicky and the room smelled musty. They were remodeling a section of rooms next to ours, so maybe our will be in the next group Overall I’d stay again"
