Great: location, staff, breakfast. Main house is beautiful and comfortable with wonderful porch swings. The yard also has great seating areas and an outdoor fireplace. We stayed in the back house which was just okay. The bed was very comfortable, heating/air con worked well but the bathroom is tiny and rather "dingy". There was a kitchenette with a microwave but no dishes or cutlery. We kept the blinds to the windows closed because they all had a view of the alley so it made the room very claustrophobic.

There were only two other rooms in use so parking on the street was not a problem but I could see where it would be if they were full. Beautiful historic home, very comfortable with a window unit in each room. Breakfast was okay, truly continental, but no one starved. Staff very friendly and attentive.

I was in town to visiting my son. I wanted to find a place for us to stay that felt like home. This was the place! Lovely historic, renovated home located in an historic neighborhood that’s close to downtown and other amenities. Accommodations are updated without losing the historic charm. We absolutely adored our stay at O’ Casey’s bed-and-breakfast. The space was clean and quiet. The rooms were spacious, and the beds were so comfy. The balcony was such a nice touch to our room and it was conveniently located near downtown area so everything was easily accessible. I believe I will stay here anytime I come to San Antonio again.
