The staff interactions I had were awesome. The guy at the front desk was very courteous and professional. I experienced a few issues with this stay. The staff did their best to help remedy the issues, however; there is only so much they could do. Some of the issues I experienced are:
1. When we arrived, the room we were assigned had not been cleaned yet. It appeared as though someone was still checked into the room. Not sure what happened there but the staff worked to get us another room so we didn't have to wait to figure out what was going on.
2. There are 3 elevators in the hotel and only 1 was in service. The other 2 were not working which caused a lot of inconvenience for all guests, especially in the morning when guests are trying to get breakfast and/or check out.
3. Our key card would not open the pool. The front desk staff opened it for us and explained that this sometimes happens and that they don't understand why.
4. On one of the days we had just come in from walking the riverwalk and got to our room on the 11th floor and shortly after the fire alarm went off. We obviously took it serious as anyone should and began walking down the stairs. All 11 flights. When we finally reached the first floor, the staff told us that they were just testing the system and that they had called into all of the rooms to inform guests of the test. The annoying part to me is that we had just walked in and walked roght passed the front desk staff and they didnt tell us about the test.
