Upon arrival as we entered the area around our room on twelfth floor we could smell a strong odor of cigarettes so we reported this with the manager on duty. She confirmed that management had an investigation prior to our arrival of renter smoking in his room. Later in the evening the people right next door to our room 1212 started blasting a stereo causing several rooms to bang on the ceilings and walls. The music would stop for a few minutes but would start up again throughout the night till 2 am. We couldn’t rest in comfort all night till morning where it started again. Management claimed they made contact with the room but it would just continue. We were tired all day for lack of sleep the next day at a grandsons party we arranged. I spoke with Lexi on our second day and upon discharging on Sunday morning. The Saturday evening was much better but only because the tenants had checked out Saturday morning. We understand that it is difficult to control the behavior of those whom stay at a hotel but we were caught off guard by the first nights stay. I asked Lexi if possible we could be refunded for one of two nights stay and thus this report was requested by her. This was the worst experience we have ever dealt with by far not to mention that the grounds outside were covered in trash and stayed in this condition both days. As Hilton Honors members, we would expect more.
